I think this is definitely somewhere up there with the best of them. The plot was amazing! Even though the book came first, i don't think i give a shit. The movie had GREAT acting. Well of course it did, it has Will Smith in it ( I Robot anyone?).

Anyway, i will not spoil the plot for you, because i think you should go see it. This is definitely one of those movies that is a MUST see.

Here is general idea of the movie (NO SPOILERS!!!)

In the year 2009, a vaccine for cancer has been made. But, the thing is it has a terrible side effect. It turns the people who used the vaccine into these vampire like creatures called Night Walkers. These Night Walkers can not be exposed to UV light. Which means they can not go out in the sun because the sun produces UV rays. Therefor, Robert Neville (Will Smith) must do all of his food finding and cure finding during the day. Then when it hits night, he must lock up his house and make sure none of them see him on his way home. Otherwise they will kill him and his dog.

The thing is, a few people, as in like 1 percent of the population, is immune to this "virus" from the vaccine. One of them is Robert Neville. So if he gets bitten by the Night Walkers, he will not turn into one of them. But he can still be torn to shreds by them. He must also use his immunity for a cure. He has a little lab in his basement since he is a scientist ( for the military ). This is where he does his work.

To find out about the rest of the movie go watch it because i don't want to spoil it for anyone.
