yup, I live in Chicago so everybody says it up here, down in southern Ilinois I guess people say soda. But honestly, calling every carbonated beverage "coke" doesn't seem right.

pop isn't really a western/southern thing, usually only people in the midwest say it, mostly people in Illinois like me.
Yeah this question just suddenly came to my mind about an hour ago. Who here calls sodapop "soda" and who just calls it "pop"? I live in Illinois, and we call it "pop"
