Quick question, do all applicants have to have awards to be eligible for one? Or is it like last year where you'll give some out to experienced artists AND rising, young artists?
I think I really have a shot at this. I mean just look at UnderARock's submissions from 2007, all his solo projects were clay! As mine are too, I really want to start making movies in flash rather than clay.
Besides my own series, I suggest check out my good friend Lino's Claydays series and my friend BlakTornado's Clayground series. Both of them are hilarious. I think we deserve at least SOME recognition, seeing as though Knox has been tied up with his live action film and hasn't had a whole lot of time for Newgrounds.
It WOULD be nice for us clay artists to have our time in the spotlight, anyway.
Well, a summer job anyway. My older brother and I want to get jobs so we'll have more money to spend over the summer because last year we didn't have shit. I'm getting my permit today and later on we're going to pick up some applications. Still, we really don't know where we could work that would pay well and be enjoyable. We were hoping either a job at the movies because we'd get free movies or DQ because its within walking distance. Any other ideas where we could work?
Gamestop wouldn't work because they only hire 18 year olds. But I think thats only around here.
I just found out from one of my buddies today. He told me he was talking to her before and she told him she wanted to ask me out. I myself was VERY surprised. This is actually a first in my book, I've never been on a date or had a girlfriend either. Her name is Kailey, I don't really know her that well, she isn't in any of my classes either. I see her in the halls sometimes and I think it'd be cool to get to know her. I'm not sure I want to go out though, I dunno what my life would be like if I had a girlfriend. Any advice, NGers?

I recently saw that Tom listed the people who he was giving away tablets to. At first I thought, "Damn! I should've PMed him about it before. It would've really helped me with my graphics designing." But eh, its fine. An idea struck my funny bone, and I thought it might be cool. What if instead of giving away Tablets to artists who need them, he gave away MiniDV camcorders to the film makers on NG who needed them. I read that Tom only gave away 14 tablets to 14 artists, but each tablet cost a little over $300, same for camcorders as well. I know its pretty unlikely to happen, but hey, its sounds fun, doesn't it?
