Hey NG, I've already made a post about this but I got very little response, so I guess I'll try and dive a little deeper this time around.
As of now I have almost no experience with AS3 or how it works, I'm fairly decent with AS2 but I feel like getting someone to help will make this a lot smoother. Here I have a demo of what's been done so far (Not completely up to date)

I have sense added a crouching position, and changed the walking sequence up a little bit. In the demo you can see that the movements are slightly bumpy when going up hills and that there's no enemies or other parts in the game. That's because I have no idea how to implement those and that's where a programmer comes into play.
I need someone with knowledge of AS3 (or anything else that is useful) that can help me make a smooth responsive platformer. I'm also looking for someone with a sense of humor and is easy to get along with.
Shoot me a message if you're interested, thanks.
Still searching.
More samples of the game

Do you have any sample work?

Hello NG, this is one of my first times ever posting for help in these forums, so I'll be simple and to the point. I have a few ideas for a little platformer I want to make. The style is a very "chunky" flash-like style with smooth animation, and what's needed of a programmer is smooth gameplay too. Here's a quick demo to show some of what's done:

Post or message me if interested, Ill split 50/50 profit on here and on kongregate.

Thank you for immediately reposting my picture and taking credit.
That's a real shame. I've never been to huge on his animations but I still really liked his style and personality. Damn, that really is too bad.
I was shocked by the news when I heard that Edd died. I was never a huge fan of his cartoons but always respected them, just as I did to any other animator. 23 is far too young for anyone to die. Edd Gould gave away all of his time and effort to give quality artwork and animation to his fans, and for this, we thank you. You will never be forgotten, RIP Edd Gould.
I also made a picture a few days back...
