ALT POST: This is actually Nav posting, just wanted to comment on this, and NG doesn't let you double post.

ParagonX9 is a special case. If you look at the date most of his submissions were made, it's centered around '03 and '04. In those days, the AP was quite different than it is now, and Paragon's submissions were top of the line for conveying emotions in a concise format (quite unlike my posts).

That's what the audio portal was originally designed for: extremely short loops to be used in flash submissions. This full song submission mentality is only a recent occurrence. I'm not particularly sure when it occurred, but I know Chronamut is, so I'll let him speak more on this topic, once I point his attention to this thread,

So, just for fun, I made a set of Acid Techno music, sort of like SadSpoon's set of drum and bass. However, I didn't just crossfade. I tried to beatmatch, and I even tried a bit of harmonic mixing (not much). I think it turned out pretty well. I decided to post it here pretty much just to get people's take on the type of music on it, and how well I did track-selection wise.
