I don't think we went in for our own benefit, although most 13 year olds would argue that we are fighting for oil.

Then why did you go?
You lost political face, an assload of money and soldiers, so why did the US invade Iraq?
I mean, it was Israel's problem, and it turns out it wasn't even a problem, he didn't have anything to shoot at us, so what's the point in committing an incredibly costly coup all like that?

How the hell did we get raped in the ass when we eradicated Saddam's military within days and continue to kill insurgents left and right? Not only that, but the terrorist can't even fight conventional warfare and lose a score of their own men. This statement just shows what an utter dipshit you are.

Yes, and?
Israel is America's only ally in this entire region, it's their metaphorical foot in the door of the middle east, so obviously they're going to want to keep us in good terms with them.

Yes, you're right.
Attacking another country first is an act of war, surprisingly.
Although I hardly think it was unprovoked.
And regarding threats to other country's existance, I assume you mean the annexing of arab lands, didn't we return the bulk of the land we conquered?
I mean, the Sinai peninsula is about 2 or 3 times the size of the country, and we gave it back in exchange for for peace, so how is that a threat to their existance?
And yes, we didn't give it all back, but the uh, "Thumb of the Galil", or whatever you'd call it in English, looked really, really nice with all the other mountains around there, plus, then you couldn't keep bombing the settlements in the north.

You're right, it is because they are religious fanatics who hate the West because they know that there are very few Muslims and are therefore infidels.
not what i meant.
its hard to believe that Muslims would want to fly in the WTC, even though its against their religion to kill innocent people.

It's all a matter of interpretation, it's against their religion to kill anyone, just like it's against the Christian religion, and almost the Jewish religion (Amalekis are ok), but the religious leaders interpret (read: twist words) in a fashion that makes killing so called infidels alright.

That's hardly necessary, put a peice of plastic explosives in a condom, swallow it, then perform surgery on yourself in flight and remove it.
Or just get someone to put a thin sheat of lead on your gun so that the metal detectors don't go off, then hijack the plane.
Lead would set off the metal detector, it would block an x-ray from penetrating it, which woudl then cause the screener to investigate what it is.

Which is why you're better off with some sort of explosive in the shape of a cell phone.
Make up some cockmaine story about why your phone is encased in a material that blocks out calls, and hope none of the security guards aced physics in high school.

600/720=0.83, not 8.3, so if you spend 5 seconds looking for pennies, you've used less than a penny up.
Also, if your logic is correct, anybody working less than 12 hours a day is LOSING money every day, even if he doesn't eat, or spend any money, since he's losing money whenever he's not working.

Response to: Does Logic Inply Transcendence?? Posted August 13th, 2006 in Politics

Something that is infinite can be of finite size yet is expanding infinitely.
For instance, you can have a finite number and an infinite number, and the infinite number will never be larger than the finite number;
100 is the finite number, 50 is the infinite.
50 grows by 25, and then by half of what it grew by before, i.e. It grows in the following patrn forever:
50, 75, 87.5, 93.75, 96.875, 98.4375, 99.21875, 99.609375, 99.8046875...
You can continue adding to it half of what you added before, but it will never reach 100, although it's infinitely expanding.

Response to: Get rid of pennys? Posted August 13th, 2006 in Politics

BTW, the amount of copper required to make 1 US penny is USD0.02, and the amount required to make a British penny is just under USD0.03, although the British penny is worth more than the US penny, so the cost vs. worth is the same.
I calculated this myself, so no, I don't really have any sources.
