I happen to think the completely opposite... If something is written very well, but the mastering isnt very good because a lack of skill on the computer side of things, I can still listen to it and enjoy it. But, to each his own right?

Although I'm appalled at how the principal acted (There's no excuse for anything like that, and I would've just punched him in the face.) I don't think that Christianity should be blamed... Ignorant people like that principle take the words and twist them to their own ends, no matter what they are. I myself am a non-practicing christian and have several gay and bi-sexual friends, and have no problem with gays.

There are extremists in every group... muslims, liberals, conservatives, etc. They are the ones who screw everything up for everyone, all the time. I'm just appalled at the closed-mindness of the world today...

I'd take a swing at it, but I don't have any recording equipment... sorry bud.

Well, I love everything from Debussy to Tool to Static-x. I've tended to learn towards classical while writing usually, but here's what I'll say on the subject. Don't limit yourself, if you feel like writing a five minute blast-beat using death metal song go for it, then turn around the next day and write a Mozart inspired track the next do it.

As for others, I tend to just write pretty selfishly I guess. If people like the music I make, then great but I won't press the matter. But music is a very subjective thing, and generaly someone somewhere will like it... :-)

I've been buying from www.musiciansfriend.com for a couple years now... they got better prices then guitar center, and I get the stuff I ordered usually in about 2-3 days from ordering.

As far as as the crash or ride delemia, I would consider some low end Zildjian pack. (The Zxt pro pack is around $250-300) In that you get a hihat pair, a crash, and a ride. And alot of times they'll give you extra stuff to, (like another crash). Hope you have alot of fun playing man.

No one will ever truely know anything, which in itself is a paradox... For all I know, you guys could really exist and I'm just in one of your dreams... which could go into infinite regression, and so on. The facts can be slanted to prove anything, and the flaw with that is that there is no way to prove anything at all. This whole world is like one big paradox to me. idk...

In the end people will believe whatever they want... and in my experience, both sides will try to impose their will on the other.

Atheism in itself is a belief, just like christianity, buddhism, etc. Because in the end, nobody knows everything, nobody has all the facts, and its almost impossible to make an informed decision on anything. The probabilty is that science will be "disproven" by something else in the future is high. Just like christianity "was" by science. For Example, 500 years ago we all KNEW that the earth was flat, so what's to say that we have the right idea now? My religious views aside, Science, Religion, its all a way of explaining the unexplainable.
