Care to elaborate? I tihnk you're trying to say France and Germany didn't want to go to war because they wanted their oil and we wanted to go to war because we want the oil. However, France and Germany supported Saddam to get their oil while he starved his people and tortured them and kept all the money for himself. Now we have freed the Iraqi people and if we BUY their oil they will get the money and no longer starve and live good lives.

It may all be about oil, but I think we'll be better customers.

It sure isnt all about oil, but it's at least a significant part of the reason. I didnt mean it would've been better staying at peace. War was a useful pain, since we know what we know now about this torture and stuff (well, we did know, but had no proof). France and Germany just didnt want to start a war, they don't have the troops US has. When you start a war, it's because you're sure you'll win, or because you really give value to your point of view. France and Germany just chose to shut up and trade, and thats what the whole world is doing about lots of things. We didn't hear that much about Iraq cauz we "wanted" to forget about it. Anyway, i was just saying that Oil was a big part of each country's preoccupations. Should have elaborated on that right away though...

yep, but if only "The public" could answer with their own opinion instead of a "your opinion's stupid", it would be hella more interesting and constructive. If you don't have something to add on the other's point of view, or an opposition, just don't post.
Anyway, for the lil time i've seen you (almost all the guys who answered this topic), you are good posters with intelligent answers and questions.
Though i'm kinda new on BBS, i know i don't grow shit-seeds behind me and don't want to.

Where have you been? The moon? Everyone knows the French didn't want to go to war because they would most likely lose their big oil contracts. The Russians also are owed money by Saddam and if we throw him out they don't get their money. Also the French and the Russians, as well as the Germans, have been selling arms and other illegal items to Iraq which violate the sanctions the UN imposed on Iraq! So they had their reason for not supporting the war, it's called blood money! Get a clue!

I wouldn't want to start a fight but, don't you think US started war for the same reasons as French and Germans didn't want to???

We also removed a man who threatend the security of US citizens and innocent people around the globe, as well as his own people.

It's sure that war has been declared to Iraq because it was easy to win, and because it has great openings. But remember that the US has a good deal of economical advantages with that. As a capitalist nation, US did that mainly beacause it would give more money than it would cost. They showed a kinda good image to the rest of the world, but stays governed by humans, and humans can't stop wanting more. I'd even say they have taken into account the number of potential american deaths into account, cauz it's gonna be the same number that won't pay taxes anymore. In our today's world, it's all a matter of money.

BTW i think it's the first serious discussion i've seen in a while on BBS. It's good to see that, but it's also sad to see it's an iceberg in an ocean.

I agree with the general view of every news network. But don't you think, anywhere you are, that these news feed you with what your country wants you to see? In Occident and Europe and other great countries, we are intelligent enough to see plain propaganda, but here, our propaganda is more insidious. American say America is freeing Irak, British wants to give themselves more importance by stating Americans messing up with civilians. Here in Canada, we hear that we're happy Iraq's gonna be freed and we're bombarded by statements about the good choice we did staying neutral.
We gotta stay objective.

Response to: Can a WOMAN rape a MAN? Posted April 7th, 2003 in General

Considering an intelligent woman, she could hit the guy, sending him into unconsciousness, tie him up on a bed, with ropes or anything. A man will, now or later, get an erection with lots of perseverance from the woman. I think a woman can rape a man.
About the strap-on, well, hmmm, burk...

Response to: Weight Lifting (dumb) Posted April 5th, 2003 in General

I lift weights for my side job. I'm not tall, i'm not big, and i unload food filled trucks. I can lift heavier (about 140) than my own weight (about 130) on benchpress and thats enough for me.
Weight lifting or whatever the sport you practice gives a nice feeling with the effort.

What the hell's the point about being noob or not. Those who don't know if they are noobs or not ARE noobs. I don't consider myself as a newbie cauz i'm in since 2000, yep, even if i have low points, i just didnt consider the importance of voting on movies and stuff until a short time ago, when i noticed lots of crappy stuff on the Portal. That's also why i started reading the BBS. Whatever you say, i'm not a noob and anyway, i won't consider such answers cauz i'm not a noob, thas all. Why giveing importance to false things huh?
Noob or not, giving our advice about movies and sounds to the Portal is our job, so we keep a good quality of products in here. Thats it and thx

You are fucking ignorant, you have no idead how great of a leader Hitler was, if you were to listen to him, you would know why. Hitler could make you beleive anything, and don't try to deny it because it bullshit if you do.

Dounut "Hitler was a better leader than any other leader in the 20th century" ----

Hitler was a great leader, yep, but with f***ing wrong ideas. He led a whole country to a pointless war. In fact, war was declared to stimulate german economy...

i havent tried this but you should send a NG link in a hotmail e-mail box. Hotmail always keeps the window as : "you're viewing a site outside hotmail" but it's still an hotmail window. You should try that, though i have really no knowledge of it's value.

Response to: why are smart girls always ugly? Posted April 1st, 2003 in General

Well, i'd say there's a different between instructed and intelligent. I know girls who know lots of things, good grades and all, but they are dumb anyway.
One of the first answers to this topic says a cute girls doesnt need to be intelligent cauz she can live without it. I agree with this, not by sexual discrimination, cauz it applies to a man too. Rare are men who are well built and intelligent too. That way, as people who are alike come together, beauties with beauties, uglies with uglies. It's a bit extreme, but it's an exaggerated exemple of my point of view.

Response to: ARE YOU A NERD??? Posted March 28th, 2003 in General

If you consider that a nerd is a person without social life then, im not a nerd. I study in science, wearing a smock. I used to have glasses, now contact lenses. I'm proud having great grades and ALSO having lots of friends to get drunk with when we all got time (usually once or twice a week) to waste time drinkin like fools and getting sick with tequila pops

Response to: TRANCE/DANCE/TECHNO Posted March 28th, 2003 in General

Yep, i like techno
Prodigy
Underworld
Resident Evil Soundtrack also has good techno beats by Manson (yes, it's techno)
How could I forget the good old Daft Punk, this french band is one of the first techno bands.

But if you wanna talk about dance, im out, i really don't like dance, it's not the same as techno. Dance always speak about love and such, really sucks by my point of view.

I dont know Trance enough to put an opinion about it. I guess with some ecstacy it can get fun.
