It's a lot easier to setup and you can get direct support from mojang, but you can't get plugins such as bukkit, so no features like teleport. I mean, if we had absolutely nobody who knew a lick of how to manage a server, that's really our only option.

I remember my first (and only) date with this cool chick. We met at a party and she gave me her number and told me to get in touch with her so we could chill sometime. Later we went to her place and watched some Star Wars. Then I got a call/text from one of my friends saying he and the usual gang wanted to hang out.

I pardoned myself and told her I had a great time hanging out and she said she felt likewise - in retrospect I think she felt a little sad/disappointed as I left. I rode my bike home and met up with my friends that night. Never texted/called her again. To this day I have no idea why.
