The forum will always have it's niche. If something needs to be said that can't be posted in the forums, that's what we have the forums for. If you need to settle a dispute with another individual here (provided that it's done in a respectful and civilized manner) head on over to the forums, if you need to post some random NGPD-related material (drawings, literature, suggestions, etc.) you know where to go.

There are lots of potential ways we can still use our private forum.

To be honest, I'm very unclear on that myself. If I have my facts straight, I'd say that the liaison's presence is to help ensure good relationships between us and the Barracks. I can't say that this was really the case since most liaisons were met with inactivity (no offense Rohan).
But I feel that if Lizz is selected, that'll all change ;)

Not only was he well known, I appointed him to replace me as Commissioner back in 07. Unfortunately, life decided to pull some dick moves and got him into some trouble which I won't disclose. Thus, he was unable to remain active and I had to step back in.

It does have its merits with the epic, just-barely-made-it escape scenes (which the movie is chock full of btw) and fantastic visuals of global catastrophe. But overall, this movie is just so cliched - to the point where it's painful contemplating about how unoriginal it is.

Sinskae left because we disagreed on voting habits. He preferred efficiency by voting based on factors such as author's affiliations and whatnot, sometimes not watching the movie because of the likelihood of it being crap.

Of course, that didn't sit well with me and after much arguing, I gave him an ultimatum: either change his voting habit or leave. He chose to leave.

If it really was a resubmission then it would've ideally been flagged instead and the author punished accordingly. But since it got blammed I can't confirm this. At least it didn't pass into the Portal probably because of its alleged crappiness. Can anyone say double fail? ;)

You're well within our badge requirement, you're rather active in the BBS, and your posts are pretty good. However, as I went further back in your post records, I noticed a decline in quality. However, if anything, that should denote that you've been working on your posts so I think that you're indeed qualified to move on to the Apprenticeship!
What this means is that you'll begin a 1-week trial period to see how active you are and how you can contribute to the crew. Simply being a regular in this thread will give you a good shot at full membership. However, if you do not meet our expectations, you will not become a full member.

If you or Funnystuff haven't done so already, I urge the both of you to check out the NGPD FAQ which there is a link for in my sig - you can't miss it lol.

Congrats on becoming an Apprentice, Figter! It's great to have you onboard!
