anyone anytime soon, oops, freudian slip... I'm not getting any PS3s anytime soon. Maybe Wii though.

Response to: PS3 Time Machine not working... Posted January 6th, 2007 in General

LOL THE P3S SUX BECUZ TI XEPENSIVE ADN THRE AER NO GUD GAYMES

Come on guys, console fanboyism is silly; every console has its good games. The PS3 has not been out for very long, give it a chance. I know I'm not getting anyone anytime soon but that doesn't mean I'm going to bash it. It is a machine with impressive capabilities. It is not as innovative as the Wii but it is still capable of awesome gameplay. :)

The remaining 20% of human expression will be devoted to finding the best way to imitate and satire the work of the late comedian Bill Cosby.

I know Bill Cosby isn't dead, but it sounds so much more sophisticated when I say "the late (whoever)".

Response to: The Media Controls You Posted January 6th, 2007 in Politics

God that's a scary thought.

I promise to only outlaw only 80% of human expression.

Well I have to say you really have me impressed. I never would have expected someone to answer me with a solid and right up answer that acutally makes sence.

=D thank you. The fact is that most people are too busy with their own lives to worry too much about those they don't know, much less those in other countries, and even less in countries in another hemisphere. And governments are too tied up in domestic issues; a person can only handle so many troubles.

Don't tell anybody, but I'm actually traveling into the future at a rate of 1 second per second.

In an ideal world those who have the ability to right a wrong (such as Niyazov's regime) would right it, but the current world does not have that kind of motivation but instead has an abundance of domestic problems and hate. Petty differences and extremist religion get in the way of trying to help people who are in need.

Response to: The Media Controls You Posted January 6th, 2007 in Politics

It's true that little attention is given to other terrible, terrible places and dictators. Such as Mr. Niyazov, former dictator of Turkmenistan (he's dead now!). He did terrible terrible things but I didn't hear much when he died. For now the focus is on the Middle East, because well... America's got a war there and YES, they have the oil.

There are people who are wrong on all sides, pro-Israel, anti-Israel, pro-Bush, anti-Bush...

Tsk tsk, Begoner. I love how you just gloss over how Hamas fires rockets onto Israeli land and doesn't care who it hits as long as it kills a few Jews. The same anti-Jewish propaganda is sent to Iranians as was sent to Germans in the WWII era; Jews control everything, Jews are dirty pigs. What do you suggest Israel does? Just let Hezbollah fire rockets into their land and not do anything about it? Lebanon's government would not do anything to stop them so it's only Israel's right to step in. And you talk about how America and Israel massacre citizens in their wars. Maybe you forgot what war is; in wars civilians die, some deaths are preventable, others are done on purpose. But war brings out the worst in people. And when these terrorists (or militias, whatever you like) strike, it's suddenly okay for them to openly target civilians? There will always be civilian casualites in war.
"Many were still infuriated with American tampering and decided to seize the American embassy. It was the least they could do after 20 years of suffering brought on by the Americans.
"
Again, it's okay to openly target civilians, eh, for revenge? I guess the next time a suicide bomber kills an American soldier his comrades can go in and massacre an entire village, huh? Tell me the difference.

"They do not "indoctrinate" people any more than the Bush administration does."

If the Bush administration is indocrinating anyone they're not doing a very good job of it, considering his approval rating. Fox News does not openly say "KILL ALL MUSLIMS". But the government-sponsored propaganda of Iran has no problem villianizing the entire Jewish race.

Also, I am in no way a supporter of the Bush administration. Most of the time I am more supportive of the Democrats, even though they're a bit conservative as well. It's hard to describe my views as fitting under the guise of any political party; I take what I like from different philosophies, supporting legalization of drugs, prostitution, gay marriage from the libertarians, socialized medicine from the democrats... it's foolish to blindly follow any party or just be completely left-wing or right-wing.

An Inconvenient Truth 2: Passion of the Gore

In this buddy cop-themed breathtaking sequel, Al Gore will head straight to the REAL source of global warming- the Canadian military. With over 14 million active troops, Al Gore will have to use all his mad internet skillz0rz and with the help of his partner, Bill Cosby destroy the Canadian nuclear program and return peace to a once-glorious nation.

Come on, what do you think they do with all those islands up there?

Not all religious people are hateful. The mast majority just keep their beliefs to themselves and others who believe like them and don't force them on people. Well, they endoctrinate their children, but wouldn't you tell your child what you believe about the universe? They're bound to wonder some time.
