i am just starting flash and am using the ultimate tutorial two
i followed it fine up until the section on motion guides, no matter what i do (according to the tutorial, im prob. missing comething very basic) it wont follow it

The tutorial asks for you to:
1.) draw object
2.) convert to symbol, add keyframe (eg frame 60), add motion tween
3.) add motion guide
4.) draw a line while motion guide is highlithed (making sure snap objects is on)
4.) WHAZAM! it works!

obviously not.....is it the type of line im using, becasue it looks just like the pencil tool, or am i missing something?

clear is merely absence of colour, on the other hand, clear is technically made of many colours , as you can see colours through the clear....this brings a dillemma...

if clear IS a colour, then it is made of different colours with their own repective borders, but if clear is just many colours, then it must BE a colour.....

i keep having a recurring problem with flash (pro 8), no matter what i do one layer is on top of the other, im new-ish to flash (bout 2 weeks xp) and ive tried sending it backwards and sending the other one 'to top' more times than i care to share, id just like to ask if there is something ive accidnetally clicked or something i need to take off, or something else....help would be appreciated
