Is there some book I can pick up in the mean time about making flash, like "Flash for Dummies" or something like that. I want to have a loose understanding of how making flash works before I get the program or start watching tutorials.

Hey, if there are any experianced flash artists lurking around, can you advise me on the best programs to get and what books I should read before beginning? A reply from a big artist like legendary frog, super flash bros, or astronaut butter would be really appreciated! You guys rock!
