Also thanks for the info on frequencies and octaves . . . do i hear exponential growth there?:P (in how if starting point is x then an octave up is 2 x then up is 4x then 8x ->16x ->32x O: >.>) but what if you wanna go down? it halves right? x -> 1/2x -> 1/4x
Oh deng~ >.> i have to go now O: school tomarrow T_T no fun at all
@karco~again :D
oh shoot >.> i knew that . . . (not really ~_~) thanks again :P
I always though eq's had to do with treble and bass. wait . . . or is that just a simpler way for people to change the sound of their stereos without knowing stuff about frequencies and decibels and stuff? if so then are the things you can change on your stereos(bass treble etc etc?) just certain sections on the equalizer >.> [i hope i am not wrong and am starting to ramble about stuff that i dont really know about O:]
hey when talking about gain and stuff when it says 3db/octave it gets louder 3 decibels per octave it goes up right?
@karco
First off thanks :P
when looking at the mixer i realized that it had a filter thing on the right ::gasp~:: :P
and so i started messing around with it and i think i understand what your saying.
random yet still on topic question:
when looking at the filters with graphs the x-axis would be the frequency and the y-axis would be the decibels right? (never saw the filter using a graph before)
I started reading about filters and have a basic understanding but i heard the term "Q" (also seen in the VST "fruity free filter")and didnt know what it was >.> What is it?
Thanks fer yer help~

First of all thanks for the help :D
And synthesize? do you mean to make your own samples?
Hmm, i have heard the term of a "VST" what are they?

FL7 producer edit.
i bought mine. but you most likly will not along with everyone. =P
its a really good program, definetly made for looping though.
Hmm . . . i was taking a stroll in Fry's electronics today and i came across FL and i was really tempted to buy it! but, How good is it?
Does it come with a lot of samples to use right out of the box? Does it have more than one channel? If so, can you control the volume , tempo , pitch , etc etc of each one? Also are there many tutorials(videos preferably) available? And finally how big is the learning curve for it(about how long does it take to get used to using it)?
