I AM using the latest version of flash, but I will be using AS2 for the collab, just because I haven't learned AS3 and don't really every plan to. If this is a problem with anyone, let me know. It shouldn't be a problem, other than Vcam's (which can easily be replaced for an extra 10 minutes of work). Because right now, no one has made an official menu or preloader, so it shouldn't be a problem.

I think the gradients could be lessened a bit, or something. I'm not a big fan of gradient-filled flashes, but then again, who knows? You could surprise me and make it awesome. I'd say, keep going, but PLEASE try to have a little less gradients.

Since the voice actor who I was planning on getting to do the voices has finally gotten his sound system set up (he was moving when I first asked him about it), then we will be getting voices VERY soon. He sent in his audition, and it is just phenomenal.

So right now, Batman, Bruce, Alfred, and perhaps the Joker will all be played by him. I'm going to review all of the Joker auditions first, however, to see if he WAS the best. (it's just that it would be better if we had the same mic quality mostly throughout)

I'm also checking with him to see if he can play any other characters, and gave him the link to Snowfreak's list. So a lot of peoples voices will be cast very soon, if he's willing to do them.

Good to know your part is going well. And about the music, that is a good idea. If anyone has a large collection of dark, eerie music to be used for the collab, then go ahead and upload them somewhere for everyone to use.

Guys, we need to keep the collab topic active. Even if you have no updates on your parts, please still try and keep this topic active. I'm not saying to spam the collab and bump it. Perhaps discuss Batman, what you plan on doing for your parts, anything.

Yes, you're definitely in. Welcome to the collab. Be sure to PM either me or Hellbourne if you need any voices for the characters you're using. Make sure to tell us what the voice sounds like (gender, age, deep, high, etc.), and a sample test for the voice actors to try out.

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to be completely honest, and say that Joker design is not good. At all. Besides, a lot of people are using the Joker, and it's getting old. Don't use the Joker. Look at one of Snowfreak13's news posts in his user page to see other characters you could try.

Right now, it doesn't look good, and I doubt you'll be able to improve enough to meet the standards. But you can still attempt, if you'd like.

My friend Calvo (CalcoA, co-creator of the Pathway Through Newgrounds series) taught me a few things to do with flash. Basically, the very very basics, like keyframes and symbols.

My brother taught me how to use tweens.

Cypher taught me how to do basically anything else I would need to know, such as movieclips and whatnot.

I have learned everything else either through tutorials or just by myself.

That's another thing I would like to mention, guys. Hellbourne IS the assistant leader of this collab. You CAN send a PM to him as well, for anything to do with voice acting, or if you would like to join the collab. You do not always have to PM me. We are both following the same criteria, so there are basically no differences.

Criss Angel has openly admitted that everything he does is an illusion, and has never once stated that what he does has anything to do with supernatural abilities.

It's REALLY a LOT more difficult than you think. I would have to kick out 80% of the people who have joined, because let's face it, you wouldn't want the style to change every 10 seconds for one storyline. I would have to settle on around 5-8 members that would actually be willing to animate around 45 seconds to a full minute of animation. Believe me, no one would want to do that.

I would also have to remake the entire topic, because then new members wanting to join wouldn't even know what was happening in the collab because I randomly decided to change everything around and cut a lot of members.

It just wouldn't work and it is too late now to change everything. Do not worry, however, because I'm planning on a sequel to this collab (more of a spin-off), which WILL have one continuous storyline. I'd rather have people watch this first collab and be amazed by it so much that more people would be willing to join the second collab.

Right now, we're just gonna have to stick with the original idea.

I like it, a lot. It's very sleek and has a nice, simple design. But nothing is going to be official until everyone who wants to, tries making their own menu.

Believe me, this idea has been brought up many times already. I love the idea. In fact, if I had thought it out more before, I would have went with that idea. But we've already started, and there is no going back. I don't want people to have to redo their parts.

Another thing is the script. I don't know very much about the actual Batman storyline, and I wouldn't want to have to go through so many different ideas for a script, when I could just let everyone come up with their own ideas.

It's just much easier this way, and I barely have enough time to even make my own part, let alone write a full script for everyone else to use. I DO love the idea, however.

There is actually a way to code it so every time you click on the flash, a different menu will show. RotMK 4 was set up so the menu was either day time, or night time. It's pretty cool, and the idea COULD be used for this collab, as well.

I agree. I really like his menu. But I cannot guarantee anything as of yet, when the collab has just begun, and is just starting to pick up. I'm going to wait for others to see their take on what the menu and preloader should look like.

The voice actor that I was originally going to get to do most of the voices has finally replied to me. I'm hoping to hear from him again soon, and to get the whole voice part of the collab rolling.

If you have any scripts that need voice acting for your part in this collab, please send it to me in PM, and I will get the voice actors that are needed to do the roles. Please make sure you give me a detailed description of what you want the voice to sound like, for any characters that are not actually in the show. Such as any random people, like a little girl, a person screaming, etc.

That will make this entire process run a lot easier, and take a ton of stress off of me, so please do this.

It's a cool concept, but your design for it is... not good. For it to take place in THIS collab, it will need to have a lot more detail than that. If I use the concept, and remake it however, I'll definitely be putting you in the credits for it, because it IS a cool idea.

Hey SwiftStylerX, I haven't done flash in years so I'd like jump back into flash by making a piece for this collab. I don't have a BA of 3.75+ (atleast I have 3+ :D), so I made a little test animation (6 seconds long) for you, to show what I'm capable of.

I think it's good enough. Seems pretty lazy though, like you just tweened everything really quickly. I can't wait to see your take on it, when his face starts to have worms and stuff falling out of it. So yeah, you can be in, I guess.

But one thing I'd like to know. Can you send me some type of voice demo for the Scarecrow voice you did there? Because if you haven't read earlier, every character will have the same person doing the voice for it. So if more than one person has Scarecrow, then the same guy will do voices for them both.

So if you HAVE to use your own voice, then your also going to have to do it for everyone else that has Scarecrow in it. So send me over a full sample of the voice.

Actually, I have a virus right now that's been messing with my internet, so it won't allow me to visit some sites, and OF COURSE DeviantArt is one of it's choices.
