Response to: What I hate about America. Posted July 8th, 2007 in Politics

I very much agree with your statement. I know others may not see it but what you say is true. However, I don't believe we necissarily HAVE to concentrate on other problems outside of the United States. Wechoose to worry about other countries. I dont even think its that. I think the United States uses 'help' as an excuse to go into other countries and fight for our own selfish needs. Like with the war that is happening right now. I strogly disagree with the idea of us attacking to protect those people. if we really wanted to work on getting rid of genocide, we would have attacked in Sudan where its the worst. But what does Sudan have to offer the US? Absolutely nothing. Iraq has oil and other minerals and, yes, Hussein was coincedentally commiting mass genocide. While we worry about that little country that took maybe an hour to overthrow, we turned our head on one of the biggest, nastiest genocides in the World! And, newsflash, this genocide has now been allowed to spread over to Chad and continues everyday to get bigger. So I do think the US needs to concentrate on its own problems like the many homeless and people stuck living off of welfare while illegal immegrants take jobs but I also think that if we're going to worry about problems that have nothing to do with the United States, we need to pick problems that matter.

Thank you for addressing this important issue by the way.

Response to: Gays shouldn't be allowed to marry Posted August 11th, 2006 in Politics

I dont agree with your statement at all. I think that they should be allowed to marry. When we founded this country we stated clearly in the constitution that we had freedom of speech and free rights. I know it also states in the Bible that men should only be with women and visa-versa and we are a country that is run under the words of G-d, but we have many things that go against the Bible and the rights of the people. Strip clubs, Bars, even fast food if you really want to get technical about it. But when it comes to the rights of others, people want to put G-d against it all and the "rights of the people" Pardon my french but thats a bunch of bullshit! They said the same thing about blacks back in the day. Would you think today that its a crime to be of a different color? You are born gay or straight just as you are born black or white and the only person Ive ever seen be able to slip out of his origional race is Micheal Jackson. I think some people choose to be gay and some people dont. But either way, they should be allowed their rights. G-d sais "Though shalt not judge" He is the only one who is allowed to judge man. If gays want to marry then let them and they will have to deal with the Lord when judgment comes.
