Very good point, but I have found the iMac easier to use when it comes to graphix and such. I know people with PCs who can do amazeing jobs, but, at my skill level, its easier to manipulate images with the Mac. Sure, the PC is far more friendly then the very pissy iMac, but these are the pros and cons. I have never had a bigger headache with such a huge reward from a PC as I have with the iMac.

Currently, I'm doing up a flash based on my own art work. When I'm done, it will be up.

Heres another post...

And my comment on the Red Mage thing. Well, I have no idea why thats even allowed her (This is Forgotten Realms right? Otherwise, there wouldn't be a drow) The only system that used Red Robed Mages was Dragonlance (which was more prepared for 3e d&d then any other system... the 3e halflings were more like Kender, the Sorcerers screamed renegades and the half-orc could be easily dismissed) but, back to the mages.

Red's are wizards intent for either their own gain, or ultimate justice. (i.e., each and every law is fairly dealt with). They arn't a balance of both sides of the coin, but rather the edge of it and the middle of it. They are somewhat evil, or somewhat good. The spells you lean into are more defensive, but with alot more of divination. (meaning, scrying and far sight, ect.) thus, a magic missle spell is possible (as it is the standard spell of all wizards) but not a red's priority. Just my thots.

Ok. So maybe i will, and then I'll get the latest flash while I'm at it. I had originally got my iMac for art, as I didn't find a PC worth useing at my present level of skill. Unfortunatly, I didn't know much about Mac... and my computer isn't very good. (Still better then all my friends PCs though ^.^) So maybe this is the step i need to take for my system to get better for art. Thanks again all... and if you have any further advice for a new apple user like me, let me know.

If I'm not supposed to be playing, then what am I supposed to be doing? I wouldn't want to seperate peoples posts with worthless ooc messages. I don't have very much to say or go on, I'm more interested in the game itself. So, here's another post...

Ersatz smiled grimly over the mewling humans, prattling on and on about gods and... bees? She hummed a melencholoy tune to herself, hearing the sounds of a violin only she could hear. She smiled sharpely, remarking that, "I have a can of WD-40 in my backpack, if anyones interested..." she then winked, and followed the menfolk back into the priest's chambers to rest.

That works too. I'm experimenting with stick figures currently, but when I have something of worth to put up, you'll be amazed. And I might just get the full version, and maybe upgrade to OSX. But, whats the goods about it? Why do I want or need OSX?

Hey, thanks. Even to Doomhammer or whatever. I want to make these flash movies, but I'm not sure where to get the stuff. I'm looking on download.com now... thanks for all the advice and tips. Maybe you'll get a movie out of me. teehee

"Errr... that depends largely on yourself" says the pale elf as he walked from under a dark alcove. He is dressed in simple leathers with an elgant rapier at his side. He looks to each of you, seeming to gaze into your very soul. "Who are you people, and what are you doing here?" his voice has the quality of an open grave, echoing and cold...

I'm still right here... if unsure of what to do. I heard about some D&D game... if its 3rd edition, I want to play a vampiric-elf, level 1 rouge. teehee. Well, maybe not, but who's DMing? And where do we RP? /ponders. I have also started my own RP forum, if anyones interested. Its like, Megaman and Chobits enter the world of darkness. The link is in my profile. (M80D3)
Well, this is my first post, 9 more to go, right?

You'd fit right in here then. To join, simply give us an email address we can contact you by (you've already given us the other two things we require, favourite RPG's and why you want to join). Then your trial will start, in which you must post here 10 times in 2 weeks. If you can do that, you'll be given a member number and considered an official part of the club.

I'm emailing you as we type.

iMac Flash Posted October 24th, 2003 in Game Development

Yes, yes. Pity me for i have the worst computer on the face of the earth. I can watch any movie in the highest quality, DLing like, 5 Mb in about a second. Ok, so I have a friggin' super computer taht can play any flash game without missing a frame and listening to an mp3 file all at once... even while checking stocks and useing the god awful limewire... but what does this mean? Not a whole hell of allot. See, unlike PCs, NOTHING is made for the iMac, except for a few elusive products. Thus, I can't DL the flash movie maker (its a .exe, read: alien extension)... so, the question must be asked... does anyone know where or how I could get my grubby little mits onto a copy of the software? I'd really like a free trial version first, but hell, at this point I'll take anything. I'm running on OS 9, btw (I hated OS X!!!!) so, anyhelp would be appreciated! Thanks!
