I have a parody idea.. feedback plz Posted January 19th, 2011 in Game Development

I want to parody NG in a game called "Old Grounds" and its motto is "everthing by everyone else".
In the game you create an account and you can view things like a parody of the flash portal and stuff like just parodying the whole system of this site, what do you think of the idea?
If anyone likes it ill start working on it and shortly post a beta (like in a few days)

Agreed! It seems you spend each and every day on New Grounds, thus you ARE or atleast ACT like a no life 12 year old, your sarcasm is easy to understand but atleast make it correct, stop acting like an all superior being to everyone on the forums as if I even spend so much time thinking about things to say to people like you as you do to me, problem solved.

Anyway, we're having a school project about The Matrix and existensialism. And we have 1 "hardcore thinking" task. What is there that MUST exist, regardless of what we sense, regardless of what we can reason out? What is there that must exist, which can be reasoned through logic and definition?

Dreams, they exist but our senses cant detect them :)

What features would you add?

First I would add a speed adjustment for characters, I would also add more shapes to place. Maybe even music, Im pretty good with lines of script

Hey dude, Can I get this in a .mfa or .fla format, because id be interested in editing and showing you some improvements you could make, I would really enjoy seeing what I could add or fix becuase I found some bugs in your engine

Its no where near done, I even have some place holders in the art for things i havent yet created.

browns mud, the purpley blue is water (mario style) :P greens grass and grey is cement, all affecting the ball differently, though i scratched the idea of scrolling, cant rap my mind around it quite yet, so im choosing to forget it, and work it out later when I feel more ready for the job

and I believe i found an artist Revelance

So far it looks good and I am interested for artistic purposes in modding the art of the game and giving it back to you edited in a different version if you want, and I would need it in mfa format please, thank you and have a nice day :)

Well Ive decided to make a game like a book, but not a slide show (which is against the rules) about zombies, its also interactive in various ways such as moving characters with arrow keys, fighting zombies, a funny little easter egg for anyone who isnt man enough for zombies ect....
