This took an insane amount of time to do--- I think my hands are going to fall off...

I will be finishing this tomorrow!

Happy New Year!

My first illustration of the new year...and it took entirely too long. I am still getting used to my tablet, which I just recently started using....

The original image is .png format, so the background is transparent. The original can be seen on my account.

Enjoy!

Thank you very much

I really don't know what the appeal of Sonic Characters is either-- which is exactly why I drew one. This is my first time drawing a Sonic character. It was fun and I was able to learn a couple of new techniques during the inking/coloring process.

My interpretation of Rouge-- completed in Photoshop CS4
I will probably be posting this on my art account-- just wanted some feedback from the forums!

It's finished! The clothing is uninspired, but-- I really wanted to start something using only my tablet and finish it.

Thank you so much for all of the helpful comments! I finally did decide on an outfit for her...! The modeling website is great-- it will definitely help me in the future.

The character does not really fall into any sort of genre--- I am really just having trouble gathering inspiration for costumes...That part of the creative process always stumps me.

Hello all!

I have been playing around with a wacom tablet that I borrowed from a friend-- so far it's been pretty amazing. Anywho, I wanted to really get back into the habit of drawing everyday when I realized that I have no idea how to gather inspiration for costumes for my characters...

Are there some websites that you recommend to find interesting costume pieces? I always have a rough time costuming my characters and any help will be extremely appreciated!

I need a costume for character in the posted image-- any suggestions?

New to animation Posted March 23rd, 2010 in Animation

Hello all!

I have been lurking on Newgrounds for a couple of years--- I have always loved checking out the new flash movies and was extremely excited when the art portal launched! (I love illustrating)

Anywho-- I have recently conjured up the gusto to start animating with the use of Flash-- I have a very good grasp of all of the basic functions, but I would like to know how to push that farther and use that knowledge to make my own flash animated movies.

I am really interested in learning how to animate frame-by-frame as well as using marrying that technique with motion tweening. At the expense of annoying anyone on these forums I won't blantantly ask for everyone to post a crap ton of links to tutorials here--- but is there a thread that has already been created that archives all tutorials concerning animating with flash?

Thanks guys!
