Do not forget the time when the PS2 was raping the gamecube. The time when Sega was falling. The time we all thought the VG world was gonna change and nothing happened.
I wonder what the guy's family thinks....
You know, that's an obvius one...
No it is not.
You know that they must be ROFLing
Well, in L. America 5-year old kids play House of Dead so it isn't that bad there.
Pokemon heart gold and sooul silver. It will be the shit.
If in Zelda you had to get keys to open chests.

An steel pokemon with only Rock attacks would be invincible.Steel is the best type defensivily and Rock is one of the best offensivily.

Dragons are weak against dragon moves as well, and only resistant to four different types.
And how about the dark type?
It's a console made for casual gamers, not for hardcores. We need to be a lot in the gaming world so we have more people to fight jerks like the unnameable.
I finally see some people that like TP.
I will tell you who doesn't need to bribe: EA.They fail so much they can't even bribe.
Another OMGWTFBBQ video game moment to the counter.
Well, things like that only happen in countries that have dumb people that doesn't read shit about video games behavioral effects.
The problem is when a dumb country is near oblivius countries, which may cause a ban fever.Look, from my experience in my shitty country (talking about gaming, of course), this place is oblivius about gaming, the so called 'gamers' don't know the freaking existence of the Xbox360, which says a lot.
And all the rest of South America, considering it's poorer than Argentina, they might be more oblivius than mine.So simply I'm afraid of a ban-fever in South America. If that happens, no one will fight, there are no intelligent gamers in Argentina, so why in the rest of SA?
Conclusion: South american gamers might be doomed.
Laziness of developers.
Ah yes, I remember hearing about this game, thought it was ridiculous. Then I saw this and I thought it was awesome.
I would say Earthbound in 3d, but meh.
It seems someone had a bad day.

I don't remember thinking my grandmother was "cool" when I started gaming: as much as I loved Nana, she wasn't up-to-date on movies or TV or anything so we couldn't really relate. Nor did I think my mom was "cool", though my relationship with her was better than it is now. Heck, even my favorite uncle was cool mainly because of his son. Nah, back around 1995/1996 cool was defined in terms of teenagers. The cousin that provided my uncle with his "cool" factor was the very definition of awesome, and he had a Sega Genesis. Video games, already fun from arcade experience, became awesome. I recognized that logo in his game box from another in the arcade? Mortal Kombat became cool, and that extended to all fighting games because I didn't know better.
What I'm saying with this extended personal narrative is, kids don't idolize Mom and Dad after the secret comes out about Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. Kids idolize two things: media heroes and teenagers. Target teenagers, and the children will play. Target soccer moms, the teenagers will avoid you and thus the kids will either consider you embarrassing to know, or more likely not know you at all.
We also have to realize that a lot of companies that started gaming don't even exist now.So Nintendo DOES need money, even we don't want to get it like that.
Good ol' Miyamoto, always coming up with ideas! But I have one improvement, having heard the complaints: have that taped or partially-taped runthrough not apply against the final boss. Come on, you can't tell that the big glowing yellow jewel on his head is the weak spot after the last three bosses used a similar gimmick? That way, the gamer learns the game, rather than just watching it like a movie.
That is fine too as a cat.

You know, I kinda see his point. I don't like the gimmicky motion-sensitive gameplay on the Wii, but it does market to the gamers of now and the future. Marketing to kids is good, since they're going to have a lot longer between the first time they turn on a console and when they finally turn it off for their responsible adult lives, but I don't like seeing old people and soccer moms calling themselves "gamers" when what they're playing are admitted by Nintendo itself to be non-games.
Point is, that one of the reasons thew Nintendo 64 did not win is because they didn't target older people. And you see, the target of coolness of kids often is based of what older people think is cool.
Modern "casual games" are a step back to Pong, though I can hope it's as much a rebirth once the "hardcore" posers and the conglomerates who feed them leave as Pong was a birth when it was first released.
Maybe you should listen another theory of him that can avoid that. It's a reasonable fear though.

I didn't say it was easy to become one.
and I'm not even sure about saying the real gamers "respect" the non-gamer pretenders as those I've met IRL all consider them "non-gamers" at best.
You're confusing 'hardcore' with 'pure-hearted'.And it is nearly impossible to find 'pure-hearted'.
But you're spot-on about what real gamers are willing to play: we play everything until we know
what we like, and once we know we play it no matter what anyone thinks. Also we play for fun, not
to look cool or to try to obtain a favorable label.
I'm basing this opinion on the Game overthinker's theory of hardcore gamers.
What do they like.
Where they come from.
A reason why you should not be one.
Why they shoudn't be the focus of attention.
We might try to difference the hardcores and pure-hearted gamers.
Hardcores like violent stuff, may prefer graphics than storyline and discriminate 'casual'.
Pure-hearted gamers play anything, even if it's childish or has 10000000 lt of blood. They always put gameplay before anything and respect the casuals, knowing that they'll someday become hardcores.
I've grown up with Red Alert 2.
Earthbound 2 and Pokemon gsc.

I don't care how they die. Just get the hell rid off them.
No, not every Pokemon sucked after Kanto, BTW.
Yeah, not all the designs were good for better in gen I.I mean, Poliwrath is just angry Poliwhirl and Muk is an unoriginal re design of Grimer.
