Some people that got bronze or silver whistles said they got around 8-12 flashes flagged and 0 reviews flagged. I took the mean of it and got 10.

quite so - both of these things would be called abusive. Check out the review Guidelines in the FAQ to see more correct behaviour in flagging reviews. If you have queries, PM a review moderator.

Review guidelines tell you only 40% of the battle. I have discovered a lot more shit that makes a review abusive and I fail to find more aspects that make a review abusive.

Flags stay open until a moderator closes them, either by clearing them (Your whistle level is penalised), clearing them without penalty (unlikely, as mods tend to need a very good reason for this) or by deleting the review in question.

Malachy said he like clears almost EVERY flag without penalty for most reviews. Here is another bit of information he said that is a lie.

You could flag a lot of reviews as abusive, then ignore the whole subject for months, wake up one day and find that your whistle level has increased overnight.

That's what I did that got me out of garbage.

Just drop the subject OP and flag stuff like there is no fucking tomorrow.

If you REALLY want the deity, flag 20 reviews a day for about 33 days (660 reviews). Remember, mis-flagging stuff can pull you behind.

Revenue sharing is making money off of the ads in your user page, flash or submission page.

You gain money when:

- Someone views your ads in your user page
- Someone views your ads in your flash
- Someone views your ads in your flash/audio/art submission page
- Someone clicks on your ads (this generates more revenue than viewing)

I never use 'lol' unless I find it REALLY funny. In that case, I put it in all caps (LOL) and explain why it is funny.

Since only like 20 of my BBS posts have LOL in them, when I use LOL, I am REALLY laughing.

Anyway, people used it so often that it's a habit now. They type what they want to say and throw 'lol' at it because of habit.

I never liked 'lol' anyway. I prefer to spell it out or use WORDS to express feelings. lol has no meaning anyway.

Your best bet is to go for abusive reviews. They are easier to find. Also, flag a flash submission INCORRECTLY and your whistle is FUCKED. People who had gold whistles that flagged flash submissions incorrectly PLUNGED straight down into GARBAGE. With abusive reviews, you can flag about 2 blatant non-abusive reviews and not go down a level (unless you're in normal).

Flag 650 abusive reviews (WITHOUT mistakes) and you will get the deity. Make sure to keep count.

Blamming DOES NOT earn you whistle points.

You have to FLAG the flash (as 'stolen', 'unsuitable' or 'malicious') CORRECTLY in order to level up. Even so, you will not instantly level up.

And whistle points are hidden; only the NG admins can see them.

There are possible reasons why you are unscouted:

- Someone who scouted you got unscouted
- You submitted bad art and therefore got unscouted
- You scouted people that don't take the Art Portal seriously
- You broke the rules of submitting art

Those are the possible reasons I can think of.

If a user is spamming another user's user page, then the owner of the user page can ban the spammer.

If a flash is spam, then report it to Wade. Include information like Name of the spammer, link to the flash, description of flash, date submitted, etc.

Also, keep in mind that if someone is pissing the fuck out of you, you have the power to BAN them from your user page. You can also delete their comments too.

When I first came to the BBS, I met a lot of assholes and got trashed at and shit. Then a HUGE trial and error process began where I posted some stuff and waited for other people's reactions. After realizing how people would react to certain posts, I changed my posting habits so that I don't have to put up with bullshit.

Hey, getting flamed by assholes isn't fun, but if you can, PM a mod reporting that asshole and that mod will very likely ban him/her. Flaming causes trolls (fights) which is prohibited by the BBS rules.

Trial and error is your best friend. Once you know how the regulars act, you can slowly mingle with them without bullshit spat at your face. Once in a while, you will get flamed, but it's easy to handle the situation.

NG by first impression is overrun by a bunch of assholes, but you have to dig deeper in order to know how helpful and nice users are (depending on the situation). Also, unless you're answering someone's question, do not state out facts like you did in your first news post (like "go to the FAQ for information on how the site runs") because most of the time, nearly every one knows that and expect bullshit from users.
