Here's my entry. I realise that it is painfully similar to funkye93's pumpkin, which is purely coincidental (I've no proof but hopefully you'll take my word for it). Lots of great entries this year, I'm especially liking the 4 Castle Crashers one. I'm just hoping ReNaeNae doesn't submit one at the last minute and put everyone to shame.

Your command would look something like this:

shutdown -s -t 10

That would shutdown your machine after a 10 second delay. If you remove the -t 10 part, it'll default to shutting down after 30 seconds. If you use -t 0, it'll shutdown without any delay.

M'kay, I'm a complete programming n00b, so I really have no idea what you just said. Where would I put this command/parameters?

Recently my friend showed me how to add a Log Off shortcut on my desktop. It worked, and I'm still in awe. However when I tried to create a Shut Down shortcut, it did not work. I located the shutdown.exe, but the shortcut doesn't work. I was really just wondering why this is, and if it is possible to create a working Shut Down shortcut.

It is also bad for you. I'm not sure quite how, but it's something to do with oxygen corroding your insides which somehow leads to death. So yeah, stop breathing.

It's not porn but there's defiantly an attempt at some sex appeal.

As for the fact that they're advertising on the front page that's completely understandable. Newgrounds is a business and has to make money. It also needs money to fund new projects and have enough money to sponsor games and give away money in competitions.

Essentially these ads are help making Newgrounds a better website.

Posted: 10/04/09 12:47 PM

I'd go for the CD. Maybe it's just me being materialistic, but I thinks it's nice having a physical copy of something you've bought, not just a series 1's and 0's in a machine. Having a CD collection also makes you look cool an deep.

Also, if you take care of them, CD's will always be there. I was recently deleting loads of obsolete files and folders from my PC. Somehow my iTunes library was in one of these obscure folders. It was all deleted. I wouldn't be that bothered but I did have a few individual songs which I'd bought from iTunes, and now I can never get them back. Wouldn't of happened with albums.

The only time I ever buy songs online is if I want individual songs, not a whole album. And that happened to backfire on me, so I don't think I'll do it again.

In response to your original question, I recommend buying the CD.

To people saying pot is bad, stop beings such bores. If you don't want to smoke weed then that's fair enough, but stop saying it's such a bad thing. Every great artist, musician scientist etcetera probably smoked weed at least once during their life. It's an experience, just like getting drunk is.

But anyway, yeah, 1 = 0.999..., and there are a whole variety of proofs.

My favourite is this one

x = 0.999...

10x = 9.99....

10x-x = 9.999...-0.999...

9x = 9

x = 1

0.999... = 1.

Actually no, that doesn't make sense. Infinity cannot be multiplied, therefore 0.999... cannot be multiplied.

Plus they could have thought about Brute forcing their E-mails and getting the password using the "forgot password?" option.

This still seems to be Newgrounds. I know phishing sites are meant to look identical, but when I press the search bar there's no space between the two v's. I'm also already logged in on the linked website. Does this mean it is the real Newgrounds or have they specially coded it so you can't go between the v's or something? (and no, I wasn't stupid enough to enter my password here).
