I'm not sure if I can at this point. If I select that the song used is indeed in the video, It will be ok to delete it? Is it still ok to do even while it's being disputed? I had disputed it in the first place because I used a remix of Wrecking Ball from Newgrounds and it probably set off the content ID on Youtube as the remix might have had a similar pitch to the original (if you are curious, it's in Robotnik's Wrecking Ball, the part where Miley Cyrus is singing in a computer).
Is it ok to delete a youtube video after it has been disputed while it still has a copyright claim on it (specifically form a 3rd party) and replace it with the same video, with some alterations to avoid the copyright?
A while ago, one of my videos on youtube got a copyright claim which stated that I used Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball song, which I didn't and it probably confused a remix for the actual song.
I decided to dispute it to see if I could remove the claim, but one of the groups rejected my dispute, another released their claim and the rest haven't responded (which will release their claims, from what I've researched). I was originally going to delete after I saw the one group rejecting the dispute, but after some research I found that If I delete a video after disputing the video, I would likely get a strike for my channel.
I am almost at the end of the disputing period and I'm considering re-uploading the video with one of the song's pitch adjusted. I tried it before with the same video and I got no copyright, though I took it down as I couldn't delete the other video yet.
I don't think I'll further dispute the video as I'm worried that I'll be left with a copyright strike if denied.

Alright thanks for the links!
For my next animation, I'm hoping to reach out to other voice actors, but I'm not sure how to approach getting Voice Actors to try out for different rolls. Do I go to the Team Up tab in the Movies section and make a description there asking for demo reals? Are there any specific sections on newgrounds or form posts that describe the process? Thanks!
My recent video, Robotnik's Wrecking Ball, received a copyright notice stating that the wrecking ball song was used in my video, which it wasn't as I used remixes from Newgrounds Audio Portal, though one of them had a similar pitch which probably caused the copyright. It's a minor copyright, but I decided to re-post the video with an altered track for the first music piece by lowering it's pitch (which so far has worked as it was left on for a day). However, I'm unsure if my channel will be ok if I delete the other version of the video. I currently have it unlisted, but I sent a dispute (and once of the sources declined the dispute), and I'm not sure if the dispute will cause the channel to receive a strike if I delete the video. Will my channel be fine if I delete the video?

So far so good, It says that I need to wait on an invitation from the user for the credits. so once the invitation is accepted, I can select the roll?
Thanks for the help so far!

I'm trying to credit a Newgrounds user who helped me with some of the artwork in an animation I just completed, but I can't find a section in the Credits and Rolls or Project Members to add the user. I've been searching around and from what I got, I think users can credit each other in there by linking up on the Newgrounds social. If that's what's required, what's the procedure for this? And to anyone replying, can you give specific links? I'm not entirely sure where to go step by step.
Thanks!

I'll give it a shot. Worked for my intuos a while back. Thanks!
recently, my cintiq's screen has been acting up and the entire screen gets filled with black squares, which looks like a blacked out screen at first, but when the pen is run over the squares, they disappear. The squares seem to come back every couple of minutes. hasn't affected how I draw, but it's a big annoyance I want to get rid of.

Just requires knowing how to code. With your example (although it was a bit confusing) it would require more code than you might think. You didn't state if you already know how to code so I can't just say start at the beginning with tutorials for Actionscript 3 (dozens of starter pages across the web). With the interactivity you mention in your example most of your buttons wouldn't be the "button" objects in Flash but rather Movieclips that you when then hard code any MouseOver, MouseDown, ect... as well as making it do things like shift objects on the stage.
Alright thanks for the info! I'll definitely look into that. I have no idea how to code in flash (though I've seen how to access the actionscript codes so I'm somewhat familiar), but I'll certainly learn it as best I can. I've got a few sources that might be able to help me at home too, but it's good to know where to start. Thanks again!
Anyone know of any good websites or video tutorials about working with buttons in flash?
I'm going to be helping someone out with revamping some instructional videos and some of them involve button clicking where part of an object moves the more you press a button. The best example I can give is like, altering a pullie's placement on a machine and seeing how it reacts with other objects and also being able to interact with other parts of the machine that can interact with the pullie like where a rope attached to it can go. Sorry if that's not the best example, though I'm not sure If I'm allowed to specify what I'm going to be doing.
Any one know where I can learn how to pull this stuff off, or if it can be pulled off in flash at all? I've seen it work on basic kid websites with different science experiments and homestarrunner has a lot of user interaction with the videos and games.
Does anyone know what brands of Kazoos would be able to produce high pitch sounds? I want to get a kazoo and see if I can make random pieces of music. The type of sound and pitch I'm looking for is the kind that is used in Oney's kazoo music like in Dragonzball P and Hardon Potter. http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/461882.

alright. how do I disable flash player from the internet?
I made a post like this a while back, but I think I better understand an issue I'm having with flash player. for some reason, videos online like on youtube and blip wouldn't play for me and the dash board would disappear. to solve this I would either restart my computer or re-install flash player (would happen every other day). I think the issue I'm having is that flash player keeps de-installing itself on my computer. this is just happening on my mac, but not my pc. how do I stop flash player from de-installing itself?
I've been having an issue with watching videos on my computer recently, specifically with youtube and Itunes (the HD videos in itunes only). What happens is that every 2 days, youtube will not show the video and the audio, with the control panel not appearing on screen at all. For Itunes, the video becomes pixilated or it won't appear on screen. To fix this, I have to keep getting flash player re-installed, and it's the same version every time. I've searched for some time and I haven't found any information that explains the issue.
What is causing this issue to occur? How should I go about fixing this issue?

Why not?
Yes. I got it for my birthday recently to work on animating more hands on and to see how it compares to my intuos (which is sometimes buggy). I know of plenty of amazing animators who can create great work with the intuos, but I decided to get the cintiq for the hands on efficiency. I know it wont improve my drawing quality, but I'm hoping it's less tedious than looking up at the screen when I draw. The hands on efficiency, I'm hoping will allow me to move tools and images around the screen quicker, to help add in more frames and so on.
Many animators and artists have moved on from intuos to cintiq and some just start of with the cintiq so ya, why not?
At 12/1/13 12:46 PM, rockossss wrote: That's a nice tablet Good for you! Maybe you used the wrong input or plug?
It was because I wasn't using the HDMI plug since my computers didn't have HDMI sockets. Luckily my brother had one in his computer and I got to try it out. Now I know to get my own HDMI socket form my computer.
Never mind, problem solved. I did need an HDMI plug after all. Got to experiment with it too. Definitely takes a few seconds of adjusting from an intuos (determining how much pressure I need to use and when to press down on the screen), but it definitely feels very hands on as I expected.
Also, what might be contributing to the issue is that the HDMI plug isn't connected (as I need a specific adaptor for it). Is that contributing to the issue?
Recently I got a Cintiq HD tablet and I've been having issues connecting it to my computers (my macbook pro and my windows 7 computer). I keep getting "no input signal" message and I'm wondering if it's my computers that can't connect or if it's the cords that came with the tablet that are having the issue. I've been searching around the internet and so far from what I've found this appears to be a common issue with the Cintiq 13HD.
If anyone has any experience with this tablet or similar tablets with the same issue, how did you overcome it?

Drat. Well it hasn't hurt my channel in any way, so I'm not that concerned. Just hope Youtube at least's makes some sort of compromise with everyone that at least makes the google+ issue tolerable.
Ever since the google+ issue occurred, I accidentally had my youtube channel join it. Does anyone know how to delete the account? If I delete google+ would I be unintentionally deleting my youtube account as well? I just want to make sure I'm careful and don't get rid of my own youtube channel.
Just like everyone else, I agree that this new commenting system is terrible.

Ok. I do upload and then hit submit but even when I do refresh the page it doesn't change. does it change overtime?
