In case there's still some dense people reading through that didn't understand - yes, I'm aware of the sarcasm-drenched author comment. If you missed that, I feel sorry for you.

On a related note to everyone's discussion, I know that low-brow humour isn't for everyone. Personally, and among a large group of my peers, shitty submissions get a good laugh out of us. Turd of the Week really did give incentive for people to put out content for us who wanted a simple, stupid laugh.

It's good to cover a wide range of potential viewers. There's already a ton of incentives to put effort into an animation or game here, so why not have at least one reason to make shitty ones?

Don't know why people hate the gwaffix of this game.
It's the concept.

Are you kidding? The entirety of the game is incredible. Every aspect of it is perfection. How could you hate ANYTHING about this game?

This would never happen with the old layout. It completely killed exposure in every section. Seriously fellow artists/producers and I used to get consistent weeklies/frontpages because of how accessible and user-friendly the old layout was.

The new one is absolutely terrible. I've been a loyal NG dicksucker for years, and never had a single issue with the website up until the revamp. It has KILLED exposure.

Also none o' these ignant 'merkuns can understand our refined, sophisticated accents.

I'm game anyway.

You're forgetting Raven!

Response to: Looking For A Midi Keyboard Posted May 7th, 2012 in Audio

Since you are using the keys for production, not live playing, I wouldn't suggest spending extra money. Something like this; http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Oxygen49.html

(Easy budget MIDI controller, faders/knobs for effects, modulation, active octave changing, weighted keys)

Would suit you just fine in a DAW of your choice (Fruity Loops I hope).

You don't need extra keys when you're going to have to map the notes out afterwards anyways, and you can do active octave changing if you need to go up or down.

Hope you find what you're looking for!

Some Brits say it, but generally only pikeys. Didn't go with the posh Southern accent you were pulling Sunra, I figured you were a posh kid trying to be a pikey :P

And I'm afraid this makes all the Raven disses I used in our battle obsolete, Obsideo. Dammit.

Lmao. I was just trying to be some loser brit posing as a hard kid. I don't really know shit about the demographic though I just did my best to fake it. xD

Response to: Clabtrap 2012 Discussion Thread Posted March 30th, 2012 in Audio

Well damn, I guess it was some conspiracy theory bullshit.

But good job with the accent, if I hadn't listened to those songs back to back, I doubt I would have noticed.

Who knows :P Fun battle though "bruv" :P

That's why I dropped out after 1 win - I didn't want to fuck around anymore, I figured using alts was probably bad manners. I only did it because someone suggested I do an alt for fun, and I thought putting on an accent would be pretty entertaining.

PS: It's Yuki Nagato from "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya"

The drawing is really crisp, I like it. But as mentioned before, the legs are tiny, and the placement of where her hand should be is strange. From the middle up, it's excellent though.

Unfortunately I'm strapped for cash, and hoping someone with a kind heart rather than an empty wallet is willing to help. I've seen these kind of edits done with dirtier shots than this, this was the cleanest picture I could take :(

My name is Sunra. I'm a hobby hip-hop artist. My music focuses primarily on conscious issues and horrorcore (I know, quite a contrast). I like to try and spread awareness, but at the same time I love to just spray a lyrical murder onto the wall.

I'm looking for a talented photoshop artist who can take some images of me and put them on some interesting backdrops with lighting/scenery to match. What I'm looking for currently is to have the included image on top of a rain/lightningstorm background.

I can't offer any cash or currency, but I can offer my support, criticism and ongoing friendship, if that interests you.

Great concepts, definitely fits the Banksy style. Loving the images themselves too, good messages. I like how the music notes give off a crayon-feel. I like these.

ps the game that im making is a side scroller

pss its not my script

Perhaps create a movie clip at the bottom of the screen and then give it this?
onClipEvent (enterFrame) {
this._x = _root._xmouse += 20;
}

or add

this._y = _root._xmouse += 20;

in there to make the gun follow your mouse completely.

Well I had a girlfriend who I rashly accepted an offer to go out with. She turned out to be well... not so awesome we'll leave it at. But I have an awesome female friend right now who likes me a whole bunch but i'm worried to go out with her because then when we break up things will probably be crappy. D:
