In order to become a mod on NG you need to lose any sense of humor. I hate to say it, but the moderators ban for reasons that are not even included in the 'read before posting' link. They ban for views opposite of their own and for things that they do not see as funny.

However, when one becomes a moderator on NG they view anything that they do not post as 'not funny.' Truly, this is sad because much of what others post is funny.
