As long as you live in a large city, your chances of being hit by lightning are pretty slim, unless you go up on the roofs of buildings during lightning storms. The building serve as lightning rods and grounds themselves, as do most of the other tall metal structures, so unless you like to hang onto street lights in parks or hang out on rooftops, you should be fine.

Realistically, your chances of being hit by lightning are pretty small anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Huffington Post is technically a new site....lol....but I use it only for its Comedy section. They have an updated index of comedy skits, articles, and photos from all sorts of major comedy television shows and online humor sites that usually lead me to good and funny places.

Every so often I try to read a news article, but I can never get through them. They're all so biased and pathetic. I just laugh and go back to the comedy section.

What would you do if Newgrounds closed down tomorrow. You got up one morning, logged onto the internet and went to check the site. Unfortunately the site no longer exists. You only get a page that says it has been closed down, where Tom and the staff have left a sad and heartwarming note about how they can no longer afford to run this site. They also say how much they have appreciated all their fans and members over the years and how hard a decision this what to come to.

What do you do? How do you feel and how do you react?

My guess is that IRS targets a lot of different groups. The Tea Party Groups, just happen to be the first ones in a long time to organize and fight back against it. Good for them.

In some ways yes, in some ways no. Depends who you are, what you like, and what applies to you. I would guess that in general there are more people out there who would be more benefited by living in Canada vs. living in the US, but most of those people would never be able to get citizenship, so it is kind of a moot point. Canadian immigration is very much pay to play. If you have enough money, you can come.

No, I don't like anime. To be fair, I haven't been a fan of cartoons in general ever since I turned 12. The animation hasn't progressed much, since I was a kid and neither have the plots. Many have an infantile or stoner type sensibility, which does not appeal to be. In the case of anime, the animation tends to be very generic, so there's not even much variation in that. Live action film and television offers a whole lot more for me. If I wanted to look at pictures I'd go to an art museum. Also, the increased use of CGI just doesn't do it for me.
