Erm, i do not have firewire and im currently using dial-up. So i have no choice then to do it the hardway. Plus, i need the disks for "other" purposes.

So yesterday I went to walmart and blew $20.44 on a 50 pack of 4.7GB DVD-R disk. I needed them to transer gta:san andreas and nfs:pro street to another computer. When I used sonic disk burner, it said each disk's capacity can only hold 4.4GB. So I have to use 5 or 6 disks insted of just 2. 2 disks per program I wanted, but no.

I tired the firmware, but its already to its latest. When I try to open the drive with no disk in or if the disk does not have a name, it says "incorrect function. E/: not accesible".

I have a poineer dvr-112D DVD drive. I lost the installtion disk so do I need to download the correct firmware for it to work as I cannot burn dvd-r's with the drive.
