But im talking about the xbox 360's dvd drive. It uses SATA connectors. And i need to acsess it but my computer dose no have any sata connectors. Theres only these small cords that say "P8" on them. There attached to the power cords for drives.

Im not talking about the hard drives. Im talking about the ports. The ports were you connect your sata cords to on your pc. My pc does not have any of those sata ports. So would it be best to go out and buy a USB to SATA adapter for 29$ or spend more than 50$ on a SATA PCI adapter?

I dont have one of those ports, Plus i already googled it. The PCI express adapters for those can cost up to 80$. Plus i followed that link STEM gave and i found a usb adapter that connects IDE's and SATA's to your pc. But i need to know if there available at best buy or fry's electronics.

Well i have this hard drive that uses SATA connectors. And i wanna use it on my current computer. Do i have to have a special SATA port installed on my pc or is there a cord with a SATA connector on 1 end and a USB cord on the other end. So you would just plug the USB cord in and connect to your SATA price. But if there are ones out there, how much are they and where could i get them?
