I have a general question. General only because I'm not sure who any of the review mods are, I looked, and I couldn't find the answer in the faq (maybe I wasn't looking hard enough)

For flashes like the binary code generator, a great number of reviews are posted in actual binary code. I remember that a mod made it clear that these reviews were not abusive. However, I had flagged a great number of them. This mistake brought my bronze whistle down to a garbage whistle. However, in said mod's post about these binary code reviews (and similar reviews, like for the punk generator) the mod said that those who flagged those reviews would not be penalized due to their not knowing that those reviews were considered kosher.

Despite these claims, my whistle has remained garbage. Was this mod mistaken? or has there been some kind of mix-up regarding my whistle status? I'm afraid that this mod's post was made a while ago, so I can't remember many of the details.

Alright, time to reveal the truth: Astronomers have predicted there to be a gigantic solar flare in December of 2012 due to increased solar activity as the sun reaches the "solar maximum". Initially, this flare will seem harmless. However, what this flare will do is knock out the earth's electromagnetic field. This will shut down all electronics, I don't know whether this means electricity will go out for a period of time, or all electronics will be damaged

This happened in the '50's. The reason why people are worrying about it now is because we don't know what will happen to all of the satellites in earth's orbit that weren't there in the '50's.
