We discussed this for an entire day in one class last year.
The several cheerleaders in the class started off by complaining about the practice they had earlier. So the teacher and several others argue that it isn't that hard. The cheerleaders respond that it is too hard, and its a sport.
The arguement continues for a few minutes...
In order to settle this the teacher says to prove its a sport that the cheerleaders should do one real pushup. The first one fails. The next one starts with girl push-ups, so the rule is ammended to ten girl push-ups or one real one. All the girls continue to fail while the alpha male douches start dropping down to show their strength to da womenz.
Finally one girl does one real pushup and is praised. But because ALL the others failed at it, we declared that it was not a sport, more like an activity.
That was a great class that we rarely accomplished anything in.
