Response to: 20 reasons To abandon Christianity Posted January 21st, 2008 in General

This topic is only an atheist confirmation topic and does nothing, but fuel the ego of those who think they are intellectually better than Christians.

Instead of letting people believe what they want to believe they make it a personal vendetta to stomp out all forms of Christianity on the Internet and, ironically, convert all those to some sort of pompous self righteousness that in turn they can spread around.

Never mind that this world and country is based off ideas that people have a right to believe in whatever they want to believe. Not to mention that no matter what you say its not going to stop a Christian from believing what they believe in. If you manage to "turn" them in the first place then they weren't very faithful anyway and it doesn't matter.

So all religious topics and this one is pointless bickering between ego fueling jackasses who can't let live.

Next time don't bother posting stuff like this on the webs unless you want every single prepubescent freak to come out and bother you.

9/11 Anti-Truth. Posted January 20th, 2008 in General

Why let everyone know the truth anyway?

I think its ridiculous and pretentious of people out there to assume that Americans are going to accept that kind of fact nonsense. We all know that we have to take everything at face value. So why let these people tell us the truth about 9/11.

This is of course prominent in the Internet, but I've seen it leak over into my Political Science classes. Constantly everyone is throwing up these insane theories and conspiracy nonsense. I mean, my God, we might all know its true, but isn't okay to live in ignorance? Just like that state of Texas.

Okay, so we all know the US government, President Bush, Oil Companies, Dick Chaney, the CIA and the FBI set up and pulled off 9/11 so we can go to war in the Middle East and set up a one world government with the United States at the head. We've all pretty much known this from day one. Not only that but everyone has also learned and accepted in the following days that the US government is evil and uses Christianity (a false religion created by man to control the masses since the End of the Roman Empire) to keep everyone in line. All of Americans live on this logic because it obviously makes sense.

What I don't get is the US government and these supposed "experts" trying to tell us that it was caused by Muslim extremest? What is up with that shit? Everyone knows that Muslims aren't into Motocross even though they would have some awesome dunes to practice them in. Their loss I suppose.

Now I'm one for conspiracy theories. I believe in an Area 51 which is actually located in Denmark. Not only that but my friend and I came up with this theory that JFK was shot by 32 grassy knolls. So don't think I'm some brainwashed American who takes everything the government shoves at me.

But COME ON! Planes? They can't cause explosions. Also, everyone knows that the only two things that can bring buildings down are controlled demolitions and Godzilla. Godzilla is pretty much in Japan so we don't have to worry about that so its, of course, a fact that the building was brought down by demolitions.

That's why I think we need to stop telling the people the "truth". All the CIA is really good for is killing Americans and people who know too much. The truth is overrated anyway when anyone can sit down and guess better than "experts".

I thought everyone knew that Canadians were French-Canadian hating liberals that are lazy with politics and wont pay attention to anything unless it has to do with Health Care.

Oh yeah, they also know everything about America because they are neighbors.

They are either social or academic organizations in which people get into to gain some sort of foothold in life, brotherhood, or various other things.

Response to: Morality for atheists Posted December 3rd, 2007 in General

Moral code isn't specified to religion.

It all has to do with personality, enviroment, laws, culture, and upbringing.

Allthough I do think religion had a starting point for morality.

My guess is that about 0.00001% of people would become religious after being introduced to them after they're 18, as opposed to XX% who stay religious through upbringing and for social reasons.

The thing is that all you have is a theory. There really is no sociological data to honestly back that up. Sometimes it doesn't have to do with the background. Sometimes it does.

What you are doing is overgeneralizing an entire Earthyl population by your one thought in that tiny brain of yours.

Get this *gasp* Soviet Russia had a secular policy on religion. The government was athiest and religion wasn't tolerated since the revolution and the new government. You would think as time passed those traditions would pass on and more people would be athiest. Nope, even afterwards there are people who report to be Orthodox Chrisitian.

I get what you are trying to say. You are saying that given the choice a child who has never ever been exposed to religion wouldn't take that stuff when they are older. Then again are you so sure of that?

Response to: Religious tolerance is bullshit Posted November 28th, 2007 in Politics

I'd say you sound like a pissed off guy who makes the same random ass comments you any-atheist makes without taking into account what goes into the human mind and thought process.

Socially, if you grow up in an area that is a specific religion you'll probably end up that religion. Then again maybe not.

I instantly knew your argument was bullshit when I came from a specific Christian religion that has a high dropout rate from the younger group. By dropout rate I mean they completely disband themselves from that sect of religion.

Your argument goes into this whole nature vs. nurture type think, but kind of skims itself around by blathering on about what you think you know goes on in people's heads.

Sure, there are people out there who are in religion for some reason they don't believe in or their parents force them to. Ever think about those who are really in it because they actually have something to believe in even if it is "false"? Whatever, I'm sure you have your own theory on that.

I get what you are trying to say that you are annoyed that you know the truth and you have to somehow tolerate everyone else's "nonsense" and you don't want to.

What I am saying is that you should tolerate what people believe if I'm sure as hell going to tolerate your self-righteous bullshit.
