Ok, so I can draw stickmen in flash decently but it's mainly the actual animation itself I'm having the most trouble with. I know to use the line tool to draw people, make into symbol, reshape and resize and stuff I make the frame, yada, yada, yada.

But then what? First of, what are layers even good for? I don't see the point (since I'm fbfing).
Secondly, how can I just simply get more fluid animation (other than adding more frames).

I just need overall advice to take my animations from average to expert.

Hey, I'm a pretty new animator on the scene and I've been through most of the tutorials and such. However, I still need some help and am looking for like a mentor to help answer any questions if I have them. I mean, I can make some decent animations (like, they wouldn't be blammed and such) but I want to make great animations you know?

So if anyone could mentor me (at least for a while) it would be greatly appreciated.
Oh, and I mostly want to do stick figure animations by the way.

Why are we just focusing on legs? I mean, they're legs! Why not like, hottest face or hottest body or biggest boobs or something?

Ok, so I was just looking around somewhere and I came across the Army Of Two video game coming out soon. I thought that having an 'Army Of Two' type of collab would be sweet, cool and epic. I mean, usually there's only one main person but two could be potentially cool. And you can also give some name ideas other than 'Army Of Two Collab'.

Guidelines:
Must involve two main characters
Must have some sort of fighting/ violence (or possibly a little comedy sequence).
It's not going to be about the game (face it, spoofing an EA game?) just that whole co-op aspect.

Sure, you may be like "OMG! A NOOB MAKING A COLLAB! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!" but I've been through most of the flash tutorials on this site and I'm sure that with some guidence, I'll be up to snuff too.

So if you want to enter, just say the word. It would also be nice to have a good variety of veterans and rookies on this project as the veterans could mentor the noobs and the rookies would (hopefully) bring some fresh ideas. Except not too noobish, we have standards :P
