Open for any projects :D
Compose, upload, compose, upload, compose, upload. In my limited experience, they search for you. There may be some offers in the newgrounds forums or other website forums, but for all my projects I have been contacted. Newgrounds is great, as I have gotten many offers for games, and yes, even a television show. Compose away when you have free time, the more you have, the more chances of being spotted! Wish you the best in your musical career!

I am a quite seasoned musician and I would like to start writing music for the games world.
I would like to ask you: where should I go to find dev teams searching for some music? Is this site a good resource, or is there anything else more targeted for this? Which "self-marketing" strategy do you suggest?
Thanks!!

Some people a friend of mine knows are making a mobile game and are wondering how much I would charge for making music for it.
I have never been paid for that kind of work, and I'm not exactly pro yet either, so I was wondering any of you guys have experience with this. Also if you know other forums or places I can ask this sort of question, that would be great!
They have another guy who might make the music, but they still wanted to see how much I would charge.
Here is my soundcloud which is somewhat representative of my current skill level: https://soundcloud.com/fiskepudding127
Thanks in advance!
My experience with making music for games is to give it to them for free. I too do not have the most experience with money for music, but as an amateur who is just starting their musical career, the exposure and actually having my music in a game 'pays the bills' haha. Obviously once I get to a level where my music is more professional and mastered, then I would start charging. But its all my opinion lol. Good luck!

After I finish this gae however, I'd love to work with someone or people to produce music! With hopefully not much of a deadline, aha.
See if my music fits what your looking for!

Hi, my name is MayorPixel, i teamed up with programmers and i am currently the Lead Writer and Director of this project, which is a game jam, 1st place: 10.000$
In which we have to create a playable demo within 1 month (from May 29th to June 30th), that must be nearly worth 1h of gameplay and be completed, of course.
(more info about it at: contest.rpgmakerweb.com/)
We are looking for Concept artists that will help us picture our game concept and maybe contribute to the game graphics aswell.
Just to be clear, there is no paid compensation unless we win or are in the 5 first places.
Even if we do not win, no worries! We will have then, enough material and content to start a Fundraiser at Indiegogo.com
May i add aswell:
_The game is intended to be a side-scrolling shooter highly inspired of Cavestory
_The game takes place in a non-real era between Old American West and Late 60's
_The game features Bonnie and Clyde, Bonnie being the target of repeated kidnapping by a gold Mining Android
_The overall graphic style of the game is Chibi-ish à la Ratchet & Clank and Spiral Knights

Is it possible to change your name on NewGrounds???
Dear brainpile,
I am currently working on a space/magical/mysterious theme that sounds like the background music of Epcot in disney world (orchestral). I would gladly share it with you once I'm done and you can see if it will fit your project :P
Best,

I'm putting together a tarot card guide, and I need some music to go along with it. Think along the lines of tarot, fortune tellers, gypsies, and mystical.
Ideally, I would like 4 hours of music, but I'm willing to get it from multiple composers if necessary. I will be including the music with my tarot product that I'm selling, so I will need a license to sell it.
My first choice is to find someone that already has this type of music and is willing to just sell me a license. If I can't find that, I may consider having a new composition made, but my budget is limited for something like that.
Note, I'm not looking for 8 bit nintendo music or whatever. It should sound like something you'd hear if you visited a fortune teller.

It doesn't have to be the same, just something similar to the style, the animation I'm doing is slow pace, so I need something similar to this, anyone know where I can find music like this?
Thank you for your time!

It's mostly classic rock, and a few orginals. Tell me what you think, and post your audio links, and etc. here, for more publicity.
I make epic/cinematic music to orchestral/calm music. Check me out! :Dhttp://desideratumofficial.newgrounds.com/audio/

I made this piece about 4 weeks ago, but feel free to check out my other battle music :Dhttp://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/570596
Hi! My name is Steve Syz and I have recently gained a little bit of popularity with my music. I make trailer and epic music to calm and orchestration music, and have been featured on multiple music channels.
The subscribers are one by one increasing and here I watch my poorly made cover art (made in Microsoft Word xD ) sit there to represent me. I was wondering if any artists out there would help me out and create something for my channel!
I would prefer some epic background with my name right in the middle, but do whatever you want ^_^
Message me if you are interested!

help? :O
Oh ok. Do you happen to know how long until a person gets scouted for the average newcomer? Like in general?
