Open your eyes, Fuckwinder - this isn't a video conference where you can just watch samples. This is a serious post about Animal Cruelty. This topic is doing for us what the RSPCA is doing for us - to get us to notice the world outside of us, to undrestand what animals go through.

Humans can cry for help. Animals can't - we have to cry for them.

I don't think it's a fun idea. I hate that movie as much as you do. I'm just proving that Animal Cruelty is not only harmful but EVIL as well.

Er... I wasn't directly accusing you of this at all. I'm just saying there are sick bastards across the world who find this fun, who like to rape dogs with baguettes every Tuesday and fuck themselves with tweezers.

Some people commit suicide over losing a marble. Others feel desperately cheated when their favourite show is cancelled. People can get incredibly aggresive in a pointless 'USA vs Canada' flamewar. And thus, the moral is, 'people get worked up and fuck themselves ovre little tiny things'.

Seeing as you're replying to the message, and adding an insult, you're getting worked up over the same subject, but in a different matter. Think about THAT before you pull out your keyboard and type.

Your experience points gave you a voting power of 1.80 votes. Your blam and protection points gave you an additional 0% of your experience power, meaning that your total vote power was worth 1.80 votes!

The more experience points you have combined with BLAM and PROTECTION points, the more your vote is worth!

You gave this entry a 4, raising its score to 3.62!
By voting on this entry, you received 2 experience points.

Vote on 4 more entries and you can record the experience to your account (if you have one).

thanks for your help

So what's the problem here?

1) You can't increase your blam/protect points? Then go to the Portal and vote on the latest releases. Granted, it's a bit hit and miss occasionally but you should get results.

2) The counter never goes below '4'? E-mail Tom or Wade about it and see if it gets fixed.

3) You don't have any problems connected with the BBS? Then spit it out and get it over with.

4) Other problems? Then state them more clearly.

n00b - internet shot term for 'newbie', definition - someone who is new to the Web/web site woh has/hasn't got a profile or membership. 'n00bs' are technically members who have either started or have low 'levels'.'

People tend to throw the word 'n00b' around against other people with low levels (who have been around for a long time but don't vote a lot - like me), or people they dislike.

People who use the word 'n00b' tend to forget the meaning of the insult, and just use it as an insult. I 'tend' to call these people an actual name -'retards'.

I'm feeling a sense of awe at Pentacleman's post, and mixing this with anger, I've come up with one too, well, rather a rehashed, spat-on and regurgitated version.

At 8/13/03 05:58 PM, Pentacleman wrote: Hmmm...so there's a deluge of anti-pop-up-ad topics.

Never would've though of that in a million years. Then again, I posted a topic a few days ago which was instantly locked by a forum mod.

You don't suppose that maybe--just maybe--there might be an underlying problem causing the deluge, do you? Like...too many pop-up ads?

¬_¬```

And too many people who have something to say about it yet don't want their thoughts or opinions getting buried in the murky depths of yet another pop-up topic?

What do you mean here? Is it that people are bottling up their real feelings for fear of going through something again? Well, this pop-up problem has been around practically since NG was born, so that must say something!!

For every effect, there's a cause. Speaking of causes, all these anti-pop-up topics might be acting in service to that one big cause: the end of the pop-up ads. Perhaps with enough topics, threads and posts lambasting the rotten turn that Newgrounds has taken, Tom Fulp and the gang will think twice about taking the easy way out with all these corporate sponsors and the steady streams of pop-up ads flowing from the loins of their marketing plebians.

Maybe. Just maybe.

And maybe, just maybe, SEGA will make a third season of Sonic SatAM and allow the DVDs to be released. *allows a coy, slightly geeky smile from knowing too much of other people's problems*

(If you've no clue, check www.satamsonic.com)

I don't think it's very likely that the great Fulptastic ( 0_o``) will take out the pop-up ads, but just add more. And his answer will be, 'get broadband'. Which won't help because you still have a deluge of mail to work through every time you click a 'f'jhu'qans' button!

I hate to say this, but in my Net experience I have seen this sort of thing happen many times before. The worst is yet to come.

A fair portion of the Portal viewers actually read the author's comments before viewing. Sometime that helps people know what they should expect.

I know many, many people who read other people's reviews before viewing as well. Even though people spoil the story a lot, the unexperienced can gain some knowledge on if the submission is any good.

Also, viewers may check the back catalogue of the submitter (is that right?), to see if s/he has a good track record.

Finally, the title may well be the biggest giveaway. Heavy indications of booze/sex/violence are likely to attract hundreds if not thousands.

A quality submission is also a good indicator. Sometimes. ^_^`

If you're one with fashion, then you may know what FCUK stands for. I don't usually condone swearing in the title much, so I just use it as a substitute so I can swear to bitch hell and bcak in the comments.

The reason I am so pissed off (yet relatively calm) is because of pop-up ads. I've tried every so-called 'cure' and installation to get rid of them. Don't work. I've tried e-mails of complaint. Don't work. I've tried using broadband (my Dad's, natch.) Don't work.

Every page I click on brings up another fucking ad like 'Shoot the Monkey' or 'Buy Now Pay Later' or some "g'umph" that really pisses me off.

I've put this topic up because I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels like this. But I hate unorganisatoin more than ads, so there's some pointers:

1) Lesbos, gays, blacks, Iraqis, celebs, n00bs, etc, are all allowed to voice their opinion. Members of Outwar and Pornstarguru are allowed, but on tight security check.

2) The mentally retarded or clinically insane are not allowed to post a comment - however, someone on their behalf can post a comment.

3)Straying from the subject isn't advised.

4) Flamewars should be kept to another topic.

5) Excessive swearing is allowed. Excessively flaming one or more people, or comments like, "Y0OU SUX ASS N0000B !"DDFX! DBX RULES 4EVA SO BAD!" will onhly make you look retarded, so don't bother.

And that's it. Enjoy vandalising this topic, and get your feelings out of your throat.

The only connection that Goemon and PrickaMon - er, PokeMon - have, other than their names, is that they've been on Nintendo consoles.

Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon is about a blue-haired kid named Goemon who goes on adventures and kicks serious ass. The original had more 3D than the sequel, which was sort of 2.5D.

Actually, now that I think about it, a Goemon sounds like a good idea. Maybe if you find a Goemon fansite, someone there can help you. Either that, or download Flash MX at www.macromedia.com, in Downloads. It's a big file - over 40 mb! - but it oughta be worth it.

Either way, you have to remember that many of these

Pointlessly abusive reviews do not help Newgrounds, do not help your popularity, and only serve to make you look stupid. IMHO, we should stop pointless reviews.
