Topic: Where are the funny Natal Flashes?

Posted: 07/05/09 10:53 AM

Forum: Video Games

Isn't Natal pretty much a whole generation ahead of eyetoy? Eyetoy only works in a 2D space, while Natal maps a whole 3D atmosphere. The idea looks the same on paper, but the execution is so much different. I've never experienced either of the two, but hearing about Natal made me excited enough to buy a 360 this fall when pricecuts are expected to roll out. I've never even thought about ever buying an eyetoy.

Certainly looks peculiar. I'd say just ignore it for now. But if you/other users start getting more messages of the same caliber, then it could possibly be considered spam and will be looked into.

Your first post doesn't really initiate much discussion. It's best to introduce yourself, give links to information on Hollywood Undead, talk about why you like it, give small rules for discussion for fans, etc. This attempt is just too elementary.

I probably would have never even heard of the band, or at least not given any more than a glimpse at a couple of their songs. I'm not a hardcore fan of his, and the only reason I came across the band was hearing about his suicide. I'd probably be a dick if I said the only reason he was famous was because he killed himself, amirite?

I should also note that in my searches, I kept getting pages related to a download called Qpix 3.5.3, with nearly no description as to what it is, aside from saying it's some 4D image processor for Mac. It might be completely useless if you're a PC user though

Just tried to download it myself, and got an error as well. I found out from Software-Informer that it's a webcam made by a company called Sonix. They seem to be some no-name company though I can't say for sure. Your best bet would be to look around the site for an email or phone number, and ask them in person for the driver, if it truly exists in a non-CD form

Used to love it but I don't keep up with it anymore. It debuted like 8-9 or so years ago when I was still a young lad, and it was a good source of gory entertainment with friends. We all thought we were so badass for watching the whole thing through without looking away. The girls in class never understood the humor though :(

Google is telling me that's quite an old webcam! Anyway, this website will give you the correct driver. It may not work on vista though you can always try, if you use vista that is.

That thread was a good hommage but it wasn't the same as the *real* long-neck thread from a couple years back. The whole first page consisted of popular users and mods posting 30 pictures and sigs of a long neck. The first post was YoinK's head, the last post was his shoulders, and the remaining in-between were just a long neck. It was quite humorous :D

What's the major difference?

Well, if you don't speak the language, then you probably won't see any difference except the voices sound more natural in some cases. Though I find that most emotion and especially humor is completely lost if it's dubbed, rather than just subbed. Popular childrens anime like Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece were completely destroyed when dubbed in English and shown on our televisions. It's like a completely different show, for the worse.

In some fonts, stem and stern look similar. So one day I just decided to cap it all ^_^

I guess I should also note that the only person to actually make that mistake was Tom Fulp, when I asked him to delete the original user "stem" so I could have it. He gave me "stern" instead haha

Topic: Ask your FruityLoops questions here

Posted: 07/04/09 03:07 AM

Forum: Audio

I run fruity loops on my macbook through a program called Parallels, which allows me to run both windows and mac programs at the same time. I haven't had any troubles so far, until today. I noticed that most if not all of the switches and dials for anything in fruity loops are overly sensitive to trackpad and mouse. Meaning if I just want to push a volume lever, turn a gain knob, etc. a little bit, it ends up jumping all the way to 100 or 0, and adjusting it becomes impossible and just freezes there. Is this a common bug, or is there a setting for this?
