I never liked FF8. It wasn't a traditional RPG, it was too modern. FF7 had modernness, but it also had lots of swords. 8 had cars. Un RPG-like. But really, I wouldn't pay for a "movie" of any FF, it dishonors the original story. The only reason to expand on something is if it did not work the first time. Except for The Sims. Its expansions are awesome.

And to the topic. I currently have no job. Why? While I am a professional engineer, it seems that no companies are interested in hiring me. Why you ask? Because some crusty 50 year old Indian that doesn't speak English OR have a degree in engineering decided to apply for the same job. Who got the job? The Indian...who was ILLEGALLY IMMIGRATED. Hm? You think I'm exaggerating? I then applied for a much lower-level job for the same company, only to find out that an ILLEGAL Mexican wanted it too. Now he's got it. Simple enough? I can't work at the grocery store either...not a single non-Mexican there. Jack-in-the-Box? Impossible. No job for me, illegality sucks.
