Hi guys :) I need tips on mixing distorted guitars into my song

basically im still in the dark and second guessing on what to do with the EQ and Compression
(is compression even needed?)

i should probably mention
i recorded the guitar with FL Studio and its directly plug in to a Mixer (no amp)
also i used some Guitar Impulse using fruity convolver. what are Guitar Impulse?

although you still cant upload wav filers here but who would want wav files (unless of course youre using it for some game or making an album)
but at least you can upload 320kbps of mp3. and thats great HAIL NEWGROUNDS!

i was considering due to the prize but then i realize not really a fan of hanz zimmer

its easy to record with pots and pans and toys that goes click and clack..
