Protools sucks. Period. Fl is quite cluttered, with windows everywhere. In order to play a pattern, you have to put it in a playlist. piano roll doesn't play sound when a note is clicked. Sytrus is the best synth, and that isn't good. Fl is completed by external plugins. Fl is fine, but if any of you tried logic for a week, you'd be absolutely hooked and not want to go back.

Loans,

The problem is that free plugins aren't that good, and the incomplete fl is $299!

Logic is $200 and has a synth that would cost $100 or more as a vst, a sampler worth $75, and 9 more $40 synths, with 100+ great plugins.

Fl is good with the right plugins.

If you had a mac, you would use logic. Unfortunately, you are going to be stuck with fl, which personally is very lacking in the synth and plugins department. It is needlessly complicated and absurdly clumsily designed. In my opinion.

There are many genres on newgrounds. There is no reason to make a thread complaining that one of the many was not there.

Really. The best tracks list hardly means anything.

Mainstream rap and hip hop

I had an argument with my "friends" today on the bus, tey were all listening to terrible music by lil wayne, kanye west, etc. They have no idea how little talent these people have. This is my way of looking at it:

People who listen to rap music are posers who only follow trends. All rap music sounds the same. I doubt a rapper could do anything with a musical instrument. The rapper does not make the beat, the producer does. all rap talks about is money, drugs, illegal stuff, and how to do that stuff. WHAT? It's like the rapper cares about only the same illegal crap in every song, making it an untalented repetitive pile of horse poop. Really. Why not listen to music that had some WORK put into it. Anyone can write a rap song. Really. Rappers only exist for the money and drugs. However, electronic musicians and rock, jazz, etc musicians actually CARE about how the music sounds. CARE is put into it. RAP MUSIC SUCKS.

Their response? "I still like it"

Who is right?

Logic has WAY better synths, such as the es2.
The sampler, exs24, is also way better.
Comes with loads of plugins at a very good price, I recommend logic.

You are not allowed to use pre-made loops in your songs here on newgrounds.

Also, deal with it.

You don't need two links to your song, let alone one.

Snowball is great. I love it.

It says in the instruction booklet where to put the mic when recording guitar, so it obviously works for that.

Yes! I am. I'm gonna see how many listeners there are. There's 8 ppl in their irc.

Sorry echoz. I'm just thrilled. You're very mature for putting your radio play in a news post. I'm being pretty immature, but I'm a kid. I'm quite excited because I am getting some exposure. From now on, I'll put it in a newspost.

Here is a user's message to me on another web site.

"I seldom recomend any album... but yours... I just had to!
I even sent the mp3 of "Where did all the people go" to several German Radiostations, I'm in contact with. The next one, that is playing that song will be "Bits&Tunes" (Webradio) in Germany this Sunday morning, between 5 and 6 am eastern time (11-12 German time) in the show "Rinchen's Coffeetime"
http://www.bitsandtunes.de/cms/

I think, it's allways good, to get more listeners - and you sure deserve them!
Best wishes
Volker"

So, it was played, and here's the audio.
