You know, I kinda noticed something as of late. I've heard constant attacks (not physically) on Obama with people saying he a communist and various other things I never bothered to remember, and obscure false rumors from conservatives consistently for the past 2-4 weeks should he become president. With liberals on the other hand, I haven't really heard much of any insults or any sort of attacks that try and completely undermine McCain.
Note: I am aware of any political vandalism and fights coming from both sides.

Kinda makes me wonder who's more mature in terms of discussing and dealing with politics.

This is huge! I've been watching news clips and reading articles from various sources and I've seen how just the fact that Obama renewed hope worldwide that the U.S. can become the symbol for freedom and hope. As for how he does, only time will tell. But the country does need to change from the path it is currently going down.

All in all, the nation just needs to work together, otherwise the United States might not have a future.

The problem is many try to look "cool" in front of total strangers and try some crap that doesn't make any sense at all. And they being kids about 13 years or younger. Though they can be annoying at times, they're a hell of a lot better than idiots that do as I described in the first sentence, regardless of age. And total jackasses, I forgot about them.

This is actually a first to hear. Are they really serious?
I'm fairly certain this violate the rights of citizens, but I've never actually come across something like this before.

It's amazing what bigotry is posted on here and what kind of utter bullshit that this guy (GunnerX86) is willing to say with no evidence or any reason. Quite frankly, I believe it is you who is the racist/idiot that probably is some white trash that grew up in the typical redneck town in the southern states (no offense to anyone who actually lives in the southern U.S.) that dropped out of school just to rant here on the forums. And what good reason do you have to make these accusations anyway. It is in the Declaration of Independence for crying out loud that, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." What kind of idiot are you to think that anything like you say will happen you bigot.

That may be true, but one has to wonder what would have happened should the North had failed to reunite the United States. Such as World War 1 and World War 2. The Allies might not have succeeded in winning either war had the U.S. not intervened, in fact (no offense to anyone) all of Europe might have controlled by Nazi Germany and Asia might have been controlled by Imperialist Japan.

So even if it seemed wrong, the United Stated needed to be whole to play the role in creating modern society (even though the current U.S. governing body isn't that great).

Look, it's just that the way the person who started this worded it that Canadians in general have green blood. This man that happen to have green blood in the article happen to be a rare case due to a mediacal condition (forgot what it was).

Well for nuclear power, there are 2 types; Nuclear fission (what we currently use) and nuclear fusion (which we are still trying to perfect).
Well, nuclear fission is more dangerous than most people think, this is because the radioactive waste the fission creates is incredibly dangerous, hazardous, and doesn't lose its radiation for decades. Whereas nuclear fusion produces less waste and the waste's radiation disappears in a shorter period of time compared to fission's waste, but the problem is we haven't truelly harnessed fusion and the cost of it is higher compared to fission so far.
So in other words, the world uses fission which can cause huge consiquences if something goes wrong and nuclear fusion which we haven't got full control of.

Time travel. Now THIS is going to put in a heck of a twist in the story.

Well, the only problem is that the peolpe don't control the electorial votes so the people don't exactly have a choise. Some democracy we have. Polititions blame video games to relieve pressure on them and to play the F@#%ING BLAME GAME!
