I must say that you have done a well job in perfecting it and it could be used for basic FPS games if it was open source.

I'm planning to release it for anyone to use after I make at least one game with it.

Thanks, and best of luck with your engine! It's amazing how much power it has, something the quality of the unreal engine 1.0, maybe even 2.0, in a browser... My enigne can't even to some of the things doom's engine could do.

In addition to my last post, will this be used for any type of multiplayer in the near future?

Hopefully. My goal is to make a 3D FPS death match style game eventually.

Me and a friend have been making a side scrolling platformer for a while now, but we haven't added much in a while. After a period of rapid development, our ideas have just run out.
You play a generic astronaught as he traverses first a robotic city, then a dark cave on a rocky planet, and finally grassland on earth. The levels are always a fixed width and height, and are generated randomly. You play for 4 levels in one zone, then the setting changes. You pick up jewels that can be spent on opening locked boxes you find throught the game.
So far the game includes:
1 and a half finished zones
13 different enemies
10 different useable weapons
15 items to pick up

The games controls are the arrow keys to move, Z to jump, X to fire weapon / throw object, and C to open lockbox or pickup object.

We need 2 more enemies for the cave zone, and the earth zone hasn't got anything in it yet. What should we add?

I completely rescripted the Render class, so it should be a higher quality with higher speed.

I am aware that you can see through walls if you are close enough, that will be fixed when I do proper collisions.

When I finish this RPG, I want to include microtransactions to buy "diamonds", which will be tradable for the in-game currency. That way, you are not restricted content if you don't pay, it just makes the game a bit easier if you don't want to make the money yourself.

Should work. Just put it at the top of your code on the first frame. Make it do something like show a graphic saying "This has been ripped from newgrounds.com" etc.

I've stopped developing the top down one since yours seems much more capable, and there's no point in attempting anything similar. I've been focussing on first person, and have most things working albeit slowly.
And sorry, forgot my specs:
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX
CPU: Intel Core2 Quad (2.4GHZ)
RAM: 3GB or something along those lines

Stupidly I admitted to my ICT teacher that I knew how to code in flash, so he directed anyone with any question at all to do with flash to me.
The most common question was "How do you make games?", which would always be answered by something along the lines of "It takes months to learn, I can't tell you everything in half an hour". There was never any specific questions, like about using loops or arays. It was always just "How do you make games?", or a question about animation which I have no knowledge about.

Fixed the problem with some ceilings I had before, and added sprites. I think that's everything to do with rendering done, except some optimisation.

If you mean the problem with the ceiling, I've just noticed that to. I'll try and fix it. The engine hasn't been optimised much yet, so I should be able to speed it up.
