Rawtekk - Hunter

as far as reeces go that song takes the cake. One sound forever gated and full of life.

always gonna be a fan of Phace, he uses reeces really subtly and low, the drums are the focus in a phace song not the reece

Looking for a voice actor for singing. Your lyrics your tempo (between 160 - 180 preferred though).

I had this one guy doing stuff for me, but he's gone screamo and that stuff hurts! Looking for a smooth voice preferably female but a male can be fine =D

Urgently need some one, any one! PST me (private message) with a link to your capella or loop becuase I really desperately need to make some new material that is quality!

Much love to you all

PLZ visit my page and D/L my song. It's called REKA. It's got some INSANE drum breaks but unfortunately at the time I was too shit to finish it. I rendered it in mono and toned the dB down so you can have it at an easier format but if you want me to split it into stereo and give you a louder or better quality file I can.

Take this break and cut it do what ever you want to it and send it in to me. The winner will not only get naming rights and credits but I will also send the song and other songs of the artist in to the lifted show (UK), JJJ show (AUS), and the RT-R show (AUS) and you might get air time (I've had air time more than once so their standards must be low [on JJJ and RT-R] =P)

Please fellas give it a shot, I want to see that bad boy of drumming be a gem.

There aren't any written lyrics, i'm not asking you to sing me a song. I'm asking that you can speak the english language ( or any language) and count to 10.

such a simple request dude, get your mum to do it? :S

Ok:
First: If he is saying "THIS IS MINE" Then that's illegal. You can sue him for that.

on what grounds, its his yes but then the judge will order him to take it down, waht a waste of money and time

Second: If he is making money off of this, that is also illegal. Sue.

there you go, royalties, sue on this basis

Third: If he is making NO money, and is just posting your song on his webpage for laughs, I wouldn't mind.
Fourth: I would contact him telling him (as formal as possible) that he is breaking a contract. Once he downloaded your song, he is bound to the Creative Commons license. Selling your music without your consent is breaking that legal bind, therefore suit is in order.

awesome idea

Response to: newgrounds is for assholes Posted September 7th, 2008 in Audio

oh btw, what he did was not sampling, it's cheating.

sampling as in use a 5 second sound bite from a killer horror movie of some bitch screaming as the looming dark figure knifes the whore to splice up your break.

or maybe you heard an awesome sneeze sound on the telle advertising tissues and you want to make a song about sicknesses with an IDM pattern to link it all together, that'd be dope. but where am i going to get 600 different couhing and sneezing sounds? :(

Response to: newgrounds is for assholes Posted September 7th, 2008 in Audio

the dude gave up, he clearly submitted an illegal song. this has turned into a sampling debate now.

I VOTE FOR SAMPLING IS ALLOWED!

i often sit outside or in front of the telle and record on my super nifty recording box and mic anything i think is interesting.

Response to: Do you think Hitler was evil? Posted September 7th, 2008 in Politics

careful here.

hitler had some bloody revolutional ideas and thoughts. everything he did, he did for his country. he did it the wrong way.
no one can say that giving the germans a way out of debt and starvation was evil. no one can say that capturing german land (and the only land that made money) for the germans was evil. what was evil was when he invaded other countries and killed off countless jews.

btw, if hitler is evil then so is american.. :S killing the people of iraq for oil and democracy...
so was england in the imperial days, the french, the romans way back in time, the chinese all these countries killed people for their own countries self gain and killed ALL people who opposed them.

well germany is a huge player in the world now so i will say hitler as a man is evil but as a ticket out of what they were no, it was just what they needed

lol, wth has anyone done this? its way to borad dude. do you want techstep dnb, jungle, dark dnb, poppy dnb, industrial dnb, tribal, hardcore, german, raw, epic, etc etc...

Response to: Some hack stole Vain Star. Posted September 7th, 2008 in Audio

It basically amounts to this:
"WHHHOOOA our very own Cogglesz' The Vain Star (note how he added a "The" in front of it, simply amazingly creative) has been STOLEN by some guy and USED by a serious game company in their game!"

sue for royalties, if it is truly your track you will undoubtebly win and get a LOT of money. don't sit and do nothing, do it. unless it's not your track (i believe it is though)

Response to: 1 thing I don't fucking understand Posted September 7th, 2008 in Audio

it's a bit of a tough one. i use samples in alot of my drum and bass music, cuts form movies, tv shows, alot of tv adds. infact, grand theft audio uses a 4 second cut from an add advertising condoms in australia as the whole composition. the initial violin. the cello and viola werent from the add but aded to give it thickness, the drums were also added (by me of course). hence GRAND THEFT AUDIO hahaha. Most of my samples though are from cleared sampling movies, tv shows etc, but i do occaisonally sit in fornt of the tv, radio, or general public areas with my recording box and mic waiting for something interesting to happen. THAT, even if the material is copyrighted, is HARDLY stealing. HOURS of effort (and i know you do the same) get put into it, and such a creative ear for hearing it and knowing you cna smash beats on it, is an ART. the reason people rabble and bitch and moan is because either a: they dont have the ability to do this or the ear for it.

Any true audio artist understands you're a hugely talented individual bro. Keep up the good work!

Also, I would nominate Koriighan for his tune Anastome but after listening to his other tunes and noting that he is 15 I wasn't sure if it was ACTUALLY his. Can someone clarify this as this would be a general underdog song (all his other stuff is crap IMO) even though the rules are a tad broken.

Response to: Stolen Songs (Tatsu-Takahashi) Posted September 7th, 2008 in Audio

maybe he was just sad and wanted a bit of recognition? :(

Response to: The Underdog List Posted September 7th, 2008 in Audio

I nominate myself.

I have been in the drum and bass scene for a good 6 or 8 years. I have grown up with the old school heavy weights, done live drumming with the likes of pendulum in my home town, and have been on a few playlists for private drum and bass shows and radio stations in Perth, yet for some reason I get no reviews and no votes on my work here on newgrounds.

The song I am nominating is the latest The Monks of Cherub Liang as it has quite a presence. Again no reviews :(

I'd also like to nominate a few other songs Ultra Funky-lot, Yours Forever, and Fear. I don't know if I've broken the rules by doing this but oh well haha.

So, some more history. I've been featured on a radio station known as 101.7, been featured in unsigned dnb artists by seriousbusinesstv (a New Zealand group), and also reccomended by Sneaky Fuckin' Russians (South Africa) and a mate over in South Africa also on dnbforum.co.za.

I started creating drum and bass when I was about 15, starting with FLStudio and of course getting no where. Since moving to Reason I started getting the hang of things a little. When I had decided I was good enough for postings I began. Since my initial post my computer has burnt out, destroying my keyboard and mixing deck and wiping Reason 4.0 and Cubase SX3 clean from my computer. Unfortunately for me I had to then bust my tunes out using Purity, PoiZone, Sony Acid PRO 6.0 and a ew Native Instruments plug-ins. Luckily I had enough to make the jungle styled drum breaks which are so heavily featured in my songs, and rom there just busted sub basses mixed with reeces.

I offer alot of help to fellow dnb creators, constantly offering tips on mastering, eq-ing, composing, and even supplying written instructions on creating some of the basses and reeces I made with reason and cubase.

These days I am heavy into the Lifted music label, with alot of influence coming from State of Mind, The Upbeats, and Spor. I am hoping to get my tracks plated onto either 6 or 12 inch (spoken with the record company [unnamed now because it might not go through] and if I can do what needs to be done I'm through) and am also starting my way down getting into clubs with my vinyls and even ameture DJ work.

LJCoffee talked with me about my work, I helped him out a bit and he noted I had talent. If he, being a judg, thinks I've got what it takes then you fellas might as well. So give us a shot guys.

All the best and much love from PERTH AUSTRALIA

Response to: Do anybody know real DnB Posted July 22nd, 2008 in Audio

Everyone is forgetting the main players!

Real DNB isn't about the likes of pendulum or teebee!
Now i've spun tracks with pendulum and even done drumming with them in a back room so i am not saying they are awful, in fact they are great if you are into the new pop / dnb they offer.

It's about players like counterstrike, donny, TZA, current value, evol intent, audio, the panacea, limewax! When I visited south africa i went to an algorythm homegrown show, now that is what real dnb is like. no euro influence just hard hitting heart pounding beats and bass that are made from the blood and sweat of the SA land. great stuff
