I'm not too useful in the animation department, but if you'd like, I'd be willing to contribute any female voices I could pull off for ya. There are a couple demos on my profile and in the link in my signature, one is more focused on my range, while the second is more about emoting.
In any case, I wish you good luck and happy hunting for your staff!

A very impressive voicereel. I can think of 1 or 2 characters that I would like to see you voice for.
We will contact you further as things begin underway. If you would like any information on said characters. please ask.

STEAMPUNK ANIME - E.P.I.P.H.A.N.Y.

"A WORLD OF INVENTION AND IDEA. ALTERNATIVE ENERGY REIGNS SUPREME, WHO WILL JOIN THE INVENTORS LEAGUE?"

Hey, all! I've been working on writing a Steampunk themed graphic novel over the last year, with a friend of mine.
We have decided that we wanted to turn it into a flash anime series. We are looking for serious, dedicated artists, animators, voice actors, and people with audio production experience.

About Me:
I am an artist and animator. I have been drawing all my life (29 years old), and have been animating for the last 10 years.
I went to college for animation and computer arts. I have experience in film and sound design. I am fluent in programs such as

Adobe Flash, Photoshop, and Premiere, Audodesk Maya, Z-Brush, and 3DS Max.

(These would have to be the series of programs used, or be compatible with for the project.)

You can check an older portfolio I have online at http://spoonardo.deviantart.com/

I am a stickler for the proper work flow. I believe that you need a solid preproduction, or your
production will ultimately fail. You'll find I'm very dedicated, and have a lengthy amount of time to put towards this project.
I am fun, friendly and am an experienced leader. I'm a person who is able to have fun during the work process, but knows when to buckle down. As an artist, I'm always open to new ideas and concepts.

Back to the project!

What is Done:

My partner and I (who will discuss himself and abilities in later posts), have enough script material written for about 3 episodes lengths in full, but knowledge/writing of what will happen for the 1st full season.
All character designs, cities and landscapes, have been fully decided, with rough character sketches done as well.
(as stated these are not finalized, so people on the project will be able to add their own artistic ability to them)

What Needs to Be Done Before actual production:
Finalized character designs, backgrounds, storyboarding, music/audio (voice acting)

What We Need:
As stated, we need more artists! We need people to help finalized character and setting designs.
We are looking for people familiar with the Steampunk genre, as well as anime.

Episode lengths are expected to be approx. 20 mins each.

DIGITAL ARTISTS: Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Flash (Please be CS5 compatible)
A sample of portfolio work is required.

STORYBOARD ARTISTS (2-3 NEEDED): Knowledge of Adobe Flash, and proper storyboarding process.
A sample of previous storyboarding work is required.

AUDIO CREATION AND SOUND ARTISTS (2-3 NEEDED): Ability to create production level music recordings/editing
A sample of previous work and software credentials.

VOICE ACTORS (10+ NEEDED MALE AND FEMALE): A sample of previous work or a sound file showing your vocal abilities
(please give varying emotion range)
(ACTUAL VOICE ACTOR PARTS WILL BE LISTED WHEN PRODUCTION IS ABOUT TO BEGIN)

ANIMATORS (4-6 NEEDED) - A DEMOreel showing, or weblink showing previous work. Must have ability to animate
'anime style', using complex layers, frame by frame, with minimal tweening. Knowledge of Adobe Flash (CS5 compatible).
(Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop an asset)

What is Expected:
We require a high production quality of work. We are looking for people with a high amount of experience in their desired position. But, most of all, we require dedication! Please, only apply if you are serious, and dedicated. Anyone who cannot keep in contact, and meet deadlines (and there will be deadlines :D ), will be replaced.

What You Can Expect:

Continued updates on the project, solid co-ordination, management, and communication.
Anyone joining will receive credit for their work, and an equal portion of any profits made from this venture (Only for people who are currently working on the project, if you leave or can't meet continued requirements this offer is considered null/void).

If you would like to be a part of our project, or would like further information such as a script/character designs,
please comment here, or message me at

Thank you, and I hope to hear from you all!

Sound effects are allowed, as are voice clips. If you use text, please export
the text with your fla. if they are custom text-files. You can use any lauguage or amount of
gore, as long as they aren't totally, insanely, crude. Any type of character in a video-game, good
or bad can be used. Just use your imagination.... I really don't care, as long as it doesn't look
like crap. If you want to be apart of this collab send me your name and who you to use in your
clip to aaron_lavigne@hotmail.com ... thanks....

Response to: Dragon-ball Z Videogame Collab Posted June 1st, 2007 in Game Development

I never said it was gonna be Final Fantasy guys acting like DBZ characters..
I said it would be various videogame characters acting like DBZ characters..
Videogame characters would fight each other with the same style and look of DBZ.
Whichever charcters from whatever videogame are used would fly, use energy attacks, super-speed,..etc. like in DBZ. If you don't like the idea that's your problem... but don't out me or anyone else down who'd like to do something like this. I've always wanted to do something like this, and now I finally am...

Response to: Dragon-ball Z Videogame Collab Posted May 31st, 2007 in Game Development

Oh.. the flash file is best viewed at medium quality....

Hi there! I'm looking to start a collab. I'm going to make
a bunch of video game characters imitate Dragon Ball Z characters.
I started out using one of my favourit characters Black Mage from Final Fantasy.
If your interested post here or I can be reached at aaron_lavigne@hotmail.com on MSN
messenger. Oh, and I'm using Macromedia Flash MX 2004 and the flash is at 24 frames per
second, so if your going to do this with me all fla. files must be compatible. Here's a link
showing what I got so far... http://img502.imageshack.us/my.php?image=blac kmagezwi3.swf
I hope that there are some ppl out there serious about doing something like this..so give
me a shout...bye!

Original Anime Collab Posted October 17th, 2005 in Game Development

Hey there everyone and welcome to the 'Original Anime Collab'.

I'm looking for a group of people to start a collab with anime characters they have made up themselves. Just create a SHORT flash showcasing your char. It can be a hero/heroine, villian, sidekick you name it! You can include a background story if ya want to give other ppl an idea of who or what your creation is like as well.

RULES: The size must be 550x400 pixels with a blank background at 24fps
Player7.0 Actionscript 2 try to limit the .FLA size to 15-20 megabytes.
Save as Flash MX 2004 if possible. If not Flash MX. I can be messaged at aaron_lavigne@hotmail.com or through MSN messenger (same).

Here's a preview of my pert in the collab (size is 21kb)

Good, but you forgot to put C.J. in the car when it's first driving (even though the windows are tinted you can still see the buildings on the other side, so why can't you see C.J.?).
