i have the same problem, i have this idea for a movie just hanging round in my head and i want to make it but i can't, although i have flahs, animatiing and designing characters is just a very low point i have, you should get flash it is very good

heres the problem

i have Aliens vs Predator 2, on single playe mode, i was playin and all the sound ever seemed to do was echo, it laged the game and my comp, and sounded shit basically, doesn ne bdy no what is wrong, i have looked at my sound settings and everything, i have a Sound Blaster Live! by the way

for the mouse over just turn your banner into a symbol (F8) then click graphic, double-click the symbol of your banner to edit it, in the timeline there should be 4 tabs, create a keyframe on all of them, on the "over" tab insert your sound, and it is that simple.

for the link exit the symbol edit so your on the main stage, click the symbol and open the AS panel enter this:
on(release){
gotoAndPlay("scene", frame);
}

for the scene, enter the scene you want it to go to when pressed, for the frame enter the frame number you want it to go to in the scene, include the quotes for the scene name but not for the frame

Dont bother to try to remove it with any virus scan as the exe file for that is most likely infected too.

Dont run any programs. Quickly copy anything important on your comp to disc and then re-format your drives and reinstall windows.

Trust me its the only way.

wow almost exatcyl what i have done, i have re-formatted it, and intsalled a virus software called "bitdefender" and a firewall "zonealarm" i find both dto be very useful

FUCKING VIRUSES Posted January 14th, 2004 in General

has anybody here heard of a virus called, Win32.Parite, because i have just found out today that it has infected the whole of my fucking computer, every single, .exe and .scr files are now infected with this virus, and the funny thing is it does jack fucking shit, it just sits there doing nothing. I was wondering if anybody will know of a antivirus program that may be able to get rid of this, i have currently got "Norton anti-virus" installed and it has gone haywire, i also have "Avg" installed but all that can do is detect things it can't heal it. Will anybody be able to help me, or would it just be easier to put a bomb shell on my comp, thanks for your time

p.s: if i find a person that has ever created or put a virus on a system i think i will personally rip out there spine and skin them alive. :D thanks for your time

if by "drawing thing" you ment a drawing tablet then i have one aswell, because i draw quite good on paper, usually it is a sketch, but i could make a really good one if i put my mind to it, i love the word "ki blast" but i dont know what you mean, if you mean like the things they use in DBZ like balls of lightning, then that should be pretty cool, i will help with weapons and stuff, or what ever, also im getting this program in which you can plan your own project with a stroyboard and everything, it is ment for schools but i am, going to check it out, maybe we could write down the plot in it, and yes JGelzer i thiunk you should do the plot as it was your idea in the first place, but we will be here to help so good luck and give us feedback with stuff

i see what your saying, so for like an intro sequence we could have the story of the two brothers, told one after the other, which follows onto the main story, with a plot, that is a really good idea, it could be like our opening part
and we could tell the story in parts
our different episodes

Well i think the subject of this topic is quite straightforward

im making a movie, which will contain the 4 above buttons continuously through it, i would like to know if any body can help me with the actionscript.

i know that play is :
on (release) {
_root.play();
}

would stop be?
on (release) {
_root.stop();
}

for the forward/backward button would it be easy to label frames thrugh out the movie then skip through them or what woulkd be eaiser.

if i understood what you said then, yes use different layers for, say stick 1, stick 2, the background etc.. the reason being if you wanty to tween something then usually it will tween everything in the layer and you dont want that

secondly dont use layers for the sticks limbs it just gets confusing, make each limb a symbol and stick them on the same layer, i would use the "frame by frame" effect to get them fighting, not tweens
