I'm somewhat new to NG, so how do I contact this Tom fellow?
Simply because it's too big of a file to submit.

Size wise?

Did you hit the compress button in your player your publisher properties?
Yes, yes and yes... it's still 33.6 MB
There are a lot of images, I did a stop frame animation . But I had submitted an older version which just as many photos, which was 8.5 MB.
I want to submit my Flash Movie but it is TOO BIG! Oh noes... How or what Can I did to make it smaller? It's actually very short? less then a minute and over 30 MB
Help!

Well I'm not running vista.

Double post, sorry. Looks like I have it saved, but I can't test my movie.

I have 7 gb of free space. I don't believe that's the issue?
I'm getting this error "Error creating Flash movie. There was not enough memory available."
Any ideas on how I can fix this issue?
Thanks

It's not that I'm not allowed. It's that the computer that will be used is a mac and it's my teachers. I'll ask her if I can install FlashPlayer on her computer but If I can't I need a way to play it on quick time. She has also told us that she will borrow a schools computer (PC) so anything that can be played on Windows Media Player, Quicktime or Itunes will work great.
I may not be able to do this due to the fact that it is at school.
Isn't there anyway to convert to another file format?

Orly? Why thank you. Sorry if my question seemed stupid. I've never used a mac and unfortunately it's all I have to show my classmates my project.
Hello,
I was wondering how I can convert a flash document into a mp4 or any other file that you can play on a mac. I know there is a quicktime option but it gives me an error along the lines of "Quicktime only supports up to Flash 5."
I've Goggled this and have downloaded a few free converts but none work for me. So I'm here asking if anyone has been through this and knows of a working on or another method.
Thank you for your time.
Blah, I was hopping for something simpler, Oh well. Thanks
Off to duplicate some frames
Side Note: Found a way to fade my layers.
Hi,
I'm making a video for a school project and want to use flash. I've run into a little issue, my main video is at 3 fps, but I'd like to add a "old look" to it. I've gotten what I wanted but for it to look good the fps has to be around 32. Is there any why I can get these two different speeds to work together? Whether they be in different scenes or something?
I'd also like to know how I can fade a layer in Flash, is this possible? Thanks
Note: Using AS 2 in Flash CS3
Thank you so much for your help.
This isn't working for me, and or I'm not understanding it.
I fond an alternative way to do my button in AS3, but now I can't figure out how to make my images move in AS3.
Hey, I'm sorry in advanced for I am very new to Flash and these codes.
I'm trying to make a simple flash to make a school presentation more interesting. All I really need to do is make a button, which triggers a character to cross the screen (With a simple motion tweed). I've tried many tutorials but I can't seem to get what I want. I also seem to end up with the character just rapidly moving across the screen.
I was thinking, I need to put the character on another scene and then have the button active this scene (Just once, no loop) But I don't know how to achieve this.
Note: Take a look at my SS. The little thing on the bottom right, is my character, which I want to move from there into the screen after I press the button. Basically the whole reason I'm doing this is, because I want my class mates to come up and put these images over the numbers and if they are right. I'd click the button and my little friend here would tell them they are right.
Please NG, Help me out! D:
I did what you said, but now the layer doesn't move D:
Thanks for the help btw!
Bump, can any1 help me with this?
No posts! Ahh
This is a "sculpture" I made this year. The fan actually moves! http://fc45.deviantart.com/fs38/f/2009/0 02/a/1/Shoe_Movie_by_SpitFire19er.gif VIDEO
We had to make an article of clothing that had meaning.
This is what I came up with. The front of the shoe is old/natural looking and the back is clean/futuristic. When you think shoe you think base of a human, so all in all. The meaning I wanted to betray was that the base of society is being taking over or "encrusted" by technology.Note: Batteries are accessible from bottom of shoe.

You like the Water Colour, but aren't a fan of Pastel? Is that what you mean?
You should take a look at my dA Gallery.
And there is another water colour. This was first drawn free hand (No ruler!) painted, then finished off with marker.
One day, I hope to be able to bring my talent to digital.

This is a vector piece done in Illustrator CS3. It's my own character.
