Lool, You're always jumping on me. Tryn'a make me look bad, that's so funny to me.
Your point of view makes sense.
Here's why I do what I do:
I told people "rushed a work and intended for it not to be good quality,"
Because it is the truth. I was sincerely practicing, and want to let people know it is practice.
Funfacts are fun.

Dun worry, I'm not doing a speed anim every day ;)
I was more ridiculing the voters than you. And I wouldn't particularly calling it "jumping on" you, nor would I say I desire for you to look bad.
I merely state what I see.

Also, most of us keep our practice animations to ourselves or stick them on our personal sites or DA pages. You might want to try that.

"I was more ridiculing the voters than you"
In general, the big picture is me. etc.etc, but I see what you're saying.
" I merely state what I see." You didn't have to bring it up, cause when you do, you know I'll at least look 1% bad. I'm sure you were smart enough to know that.

"Also, most of us keep our practice animations to ourselves"
Everyone's different.

"You might want to try that."
How come? Is something going on? So far positive things have come from them.
By the way, I have other practice animations that were never uploaded.

Maybe don't think too much. You might want to try that.

" Your right. Sprite animations wont get anywhere....in the animation industry that is"
You sure only specifically the animation industry? I don't think it'll do good in the music industry, live action industry...or anything...maybe Nintendo....or Sega Genesis.

" I dont agree with the terminology of calling Nintendo and asking them to make a blockbuster useing there stuff."
I agree 7777%. One of my reasons to stay away from sprite work.

"I bet Micheal bay called up the people who made transformers"
Course.

"Some of the best stuff came from already made content. Spiderman, Ironman..."
Yes. But they don't sprite it up.

"Yes i would LOVE to draw."
Great attitude. Draw man.

Okay games. Game creator. Game programmer. Okay.

"i want the RESPECT of the animators to see that sprite animation IS infact hard work"
Yeah. I believe it's hard work. I just don't prefer to touch it.

Start drawing more man, heal up your drawing passion. Sports and hard work killed it? Kill it back.
And maybe you're valuing hard work and sports more than this.

Regardless, God Bless you.
-Andrew K.

I dont agree with the terminology of calling Nintendo and asking them to make a blockbuster useing there stuff.

I bet Micheal bay called up the people who made transformers and asked, can i turn your movie into a blockbuster.

Some of the best stuff came from already made content. Spiderman, Ironman...

Yes i would LOVE to draw. I used to have artistic ability but years of non practise, sports, hard work killed it.

My aim is not to be the best animator. i want to create games. I want to show the world i can turn something made and make it different.

Story IS everything, but ORIGINALITY is the key to success. Sprites have no originality, but a majority of animations on NG dont.

You spike, fully deserved the first place award. I believe animation should shine above sprite movies, however i want the RESPECT of the animators to see that sprite animation IS infact hard work, and have to have a HIGHER standard to get on Newgrounds Front Page.

Dear Newgrounds and the whole world,
Here is my ultimate truth reply to every sprite animator in the world...
I kinda feel bad, but be strong, suck it up; the truth is how you grow and how I've been growing.

This is my view and opinion about sprite animations.
You won't get any where.
Front page on Newgrounds, nice page views on the internet, probably yes, right.

But..in my negative mind set, it will never ever get an Oscar.
Make DVD distribution bringing $$$ to your hungry wallets, or be in beautiful movie theaters.
It's copy written, what are you gonna do, email Nintendo and say "May I make a Holly Wood block buster hit and distribute it theatrically and on DVD? I'll give you 50%.

Ultimately guys... STORY IS EVERYTHING. If you make some JAW DROPPING AMAZING STORY, then you got potential...only cause you can drop a story.

The nice thing is, there are some people who do sprites that also draw and make creations through drawing.

BE STRONG EVERYONE. Listen, if you ever decided to ditch sprites or whatever, now is the time.
I just woke up from a hard nap, so maybe I'm blunt, or something, regardless it's passion.

Of course making 1,000 sprite animations is better than giving out 1,000 flash reviews. You gain a fraction of experience through all forms of animation.

Please everyone, think hard, and think strong and passionate. This is for real.
Maybe sprites is/was/may be for people who cannot draw....so while you make those sprite movies(great XP for directing....profile shots only) practice your drawings.
practice practice practice.

I still am practicing practicing practicing. Until the day I die.
No matter what level you, are everyone practice.

But gosh..I can't stress how much you will get no where by doing sprites. Also they are unoriginal, (777 other people are using that Mario or Sonic).
And think about it....if you're applying to an animation school or some film school....and all you got are sprites....I don't know...I'd kinda be embarrassed; only reason I wouldn't be half as embarrassed is if the story touched their hearts.

Like.....Princess Mononoke in sprite form, that is good. But Princess Mononoke deserves to be drawn out. Does everyone see what I'm saying?
It feel good saying all this, because I enjoy expressing my self, opening people's eyes, opening hearts, sharing, and changing lives.
I am open to hear everyones honest opinions, open my eyes.

I must stress this again...if you ever thought of abandoning sprites and moving on...start now....we'll be practicing together.

Regardless of anything; whatever dreams you got, know what it is and keep dashing.

Sincerely,
Andrew Kerekes.

situation is simple.

When i export flash to a .swf, it lags sooooooooo crazy much. so so much.
plays perfect in the project file.

I know a way to fix this problem, it's to purposefuly lagg your sounds in the project file so it plays fine in the .swf

Also my firend says cut down on filter effects. BUT I WANT THOSE FILTERS!!!!

is there a better option?

SOMEONE HELP ME!

Additional info, the flick is 10 minutes. and hmmm, the longer it goes into the film, the worse the lag gets.

p.s. thank you for your time and have a happy day.
