Cars don't grow, produce enzymes or any of that stuff. It's not the same thing.

You are saying I can't relate a ribosome to a part of a car? Well it has been done before, this is not the first time the teacher assigned this. Everthing else has been simple. Nucleus-computer, Chloroplast-Solar panels, Mitochondria-engine, Cell wall-doors..... etc etc. I just need help with ribosome

I am working on a project and i am totally stuck on the last part. We have to relate parts of cells to cars, ex: the mitochondria is like an engine, it makes the power...
In a cell, a ribosome produces protiens, which are vital for the cell to function properly. How does a ribosome relate to a specific part of a car? Help... or at least a hint would be appreciated. I just don't know that much about cars. Thanks!

The board(s) on the bottom supporting it must have come off. Unless, of course, something snapped. If nothing appears to be broken, you could probably fix it easily. If you werent jumping or having babies on it, your mom will not be mad.

Wait, how much do you weigh? Are you FAT? (gasp)

Part of me still wonders what changed...

You can't just mix orange juice and cola, sip it, put it in the fridge for three years, then try it again. It will not taste the same.

:Problem Solved

I have a webcam with a button that you can press that takes still images. I am trying to make a claymation, but I have to individually save each picture, and it is taking too long. Is there a program I can get that will automatically save still images to a specific location when I press this capture button?

You can easily cut the stuff you don't need.
Also... guess which site I found it on. :3

That is not the kind of spell sound effect i am looking for. I want a loud whoosh-like thing, not some fairy girl crap.

My cat that we have had for a little more than a year broke a vase when I was upstairs, and I told my mom on the phone, and I thought she'd just be mad for a while but nooooo. This vase (out of all the others) happened to be worth 1,800$.... My mom is talking about giving away the cat and I want to keep him (so does my sister)... What should I do? How do I convince my mom to let the cat stay? What would you do if the cat broke something that valauble........? :(((((

Topic: Collab hosting and BA?

Posted: 05/14/09 08:59 PM

Forum: General

So I read the collab rules, and they say you need a batting average of 3.5 or higher to host a collab, and they say you have to have at least one solo submission that makes that 3.5 or higher. Well, I'm working on a game, and there is one little short small teeny part that another user helped me with. I'd say I have done like 98% of the flash.

The question:
Because the BA has to include one solo submissoin rated 3.5 or higher, would It be Ok to say the flash I might post is a solo submission? (cuz I wanna host a collab!) Of course, I would get permission from that user, and I'd still put their website in the credits and right click menu (which is what we agreed on, you know, I don't have to pay him any sponsor money if i link his site).

P.S. This isn't the account i'm posting the game on anyways

Topic: Confused with problem...

Posted: 05/12/09 07:22 PM

Heya, I know Newgrounds is not the best place to be asking for algebra help, but i really do need help. I have been stuck on this problem, and the answer in the back of the book is 3, but I don't know how to get it! I know I have to square both sides first, to get rid of the 'square root' of x+1, but I keep coming out with the wrong answer in the end. Can someone help? Thanks.

:basically what I am asking for is how to get the answer, I know what it is {3}, but I want to know how to get it!

Confused with problem...
