I hear voices all the time but it's not really a problem because they're all pretty benign. They don't tell me to kill, they usually say stuff like "You should throw out those leftovers, they're getting old" or "You should read a book. You don't read as often as you should.". The only weird thing a voice ever told me was "I'm bored... I'm going to a movie. Want me to pick anything up on my way back?". Two and a half hours later I found the root beer that I requested chilling in the fridge... bizarre...

Because he's the main character and he wouldn't seem as badass if there were a dozen other super solders running around wherever he went. The super solders aren't incredibly numerous but there are quite a few more than just "Spartan-117" a.k.a. "John" a.k.a. The master Chief that's stared in the Halo games to this point and some of them are female.

Actually, humans do have limited regenerative properties. There have been documented cases where people have completely grown back finger tips after losing them. Of course it usually only happens with children and it only seems to happen if the finger tip isn't severed below the knuckle. Furthermore, human embryos can regenerate limbs while in the womb. The fact that we have any regenerative properties at all is the reason that DARPA receive a multi million dollar grant a couple of years ago to create a mammalian blastema, the kind of cell that makes regeneration in amphibians possible. The idea is to use the genes for regeneration that we already have in conjunction with a medical treatment that would allow people to regenerate lost limbs. Heh, I don't envy you one bit. Boy am I glad I don't have to deal with stuff like that anymore... of course once the whole school thing is out of the way work takes its place and slowly begins to crush your soul. Damn. It never lets up, does it?

A lot of my friends swear by WoW... I was never really into MMOs myself. I like the idea that a regular RPG has a set story to tell and that I'll eventually reach the climax and bring it to an end. Am I off base? I know that MMOs have story arcs but I can't imagine that it would have a central story that a player can eventually fully complete. I mean, if that happened then you'd have no real reason to continue the subscription.

Final Fantasy VI all the way. I had played RPGs before but that was the game that made me fall in love with the genre. It was the first time that I felt that I had a truly epic gaming experience. Chrono Trigger and Earthbound are a close second and third. I also feel that FF VII was the last game in that series to live up to VI. The only reason I didn't feel it was as good, despite the emotional punch that a certain part delivered, was because I wound up hating a couple of the playable characters and the story felt like it dragged in a couple of places. Honorable mentions go to Tales of Symphonia, the Elder Scrolls games, Breath of Fire and the KOTOR games (still the only Star Wars games that I've ever enjoyed).
Fable was ok but it was lacking so many things that were promised that it just pissed me off. I enjoyed the Kingdom Hearts games but the narrative of the games seems to be a little too ambiguous at times and the combat system just isn't very rich. Oh and Xenosaga just irritated the shit out of me. The cutscenes were agonizingly long and seemed to pop up after completing just a small amount of gameplay.
This place could use a few more females. I've never been a huge fan of sausage parties.

Everyone knows that the only sure fire way to clear bleach out of your system is to drink more bleach! Straight from the bottle this time... and chase it with a cup and a half of pure ammonia. In all seriousness though, it was probably diluted to the point where it won't do much harm. If you aren't in any pain (I assume you aren't since you're posting on NG) you're probably fine so don't panic. And just to drive home what everyone has already said; Definitely keep drinking plenty of water and, if you haven't gotten the hint to do so already, contact poison control just to be safe.
If he's really all that embarrassed then why is he putting his face out there for everyone to see by doing interviews about it? If he hadn't it wouldn't be like anyone would have been able to recognized him from the album cover.

Actually it would have been the last game that Squaresoft would have made. They didn't merge with Enix until 2003.

Good advice... Ok, I'll start off with a piece of Venture Bros. fan art. This is, of course, Dr. Girlfriend. You may notice that it isn't quite the same style used in the actual show. I went with more of Bruce Timm style. Some of you may be familiar with his charechter design from shows like Batman: The Animated Series.
That's pretty tame compared to some of the stuff I had to work on in a past job. I was a colorist for a series of pornographic comics. Most of the time we'd do one shot story contracts for independent publishers. One summer we got commissioned for something that made us decide to never do business with a particular client again. I'll spare everyone the more explicit details but the basic plot involved a small restaurant that served an exclusive clientele. In actuality the restaurant was an underground sex slavery / cannibal club. Clients would come in, select from a variety of horrified women kept captive in the "dungeon" and brutally rape them. Afterwards, they would watch as the staff would viciously torture the women to death, carve them up and serve the remains in the dining room... and I had to diligently paint every single panel in full living color.

It's a matter of copyrights. Basically they have the right to tell you what you can and can't do with their stock. Some don't care and put their stock up to be used in any way, others allow use outside of DA as long as it's not for commercial use unless a royalty agreement is met, and others have a strict "for DA use only" policy. Since most of my photo manipulations use people I'd rather know exactly what each individuals policy is before I go posting their images / likenesses all over the place.
The 360 breaking all the time shouldn't be an issue once the revised hardware is widely available. If the few exclusives the PS3 is still holding on to stay exclusive and developers catch up to the hardware then they may be successful. As for the Wii, it can be fun as hell and the only real problem is that they're making everyone wait on the big titles like SSBB, Mario Galaxy or the new Metroid. In actuality the Wii is the only system that can't be considered a failure right now since it's vastly outselling the 360 and PS3 3. Not to mention that Nintendo is the only console maker that's currently making a profit on every unit sold because the Wii actually costs less to make than what they're selling it for. I just hope that the other two catch up and fix their problems because I really want a PS3 and 360 too but I don't want something that breaks on me or is waning in developer support.

.... That sucks because as far as the photo manipulations go I don't think I have permission from the stock photography owners for use outside of deviant art.
I haven't been around NG in years and I figured I'd go ahead and share some of my artwork as a way to reintegrate back into NG society. For the most part my DeviantArt gallery consists of photo-manipulations but I also dabble in traditional mediums and I'm beginning to study 3D rendering software such as Maya, Mudbox and Zbrush. Though there isn't any 3d stuff in my gallery yet, there will be some in the future as I get better at it.
As a fair warning, there are a couple of pieces in my gallery that are NSFW as they contain nudity but I beleive you shouldn't be able to see them unless you are singed into their site.
I'll update this thread whenever I add something new or have created something specifically for the NG community.
What scares me most is that they are a clear threat to the American people!

Ah, but there will be a black costume and in the slideshow I posted earlier Grace is running around with a nice camera so it look like he will be Brock. But still, you’re right, whether or not he becomes Venom by the end of the movie is still unknown since they very well could decide to stretch out the symbiot suit thing and leave it open for a fourth.
