I'm really digging all the designs, and I hope to get them all on the website. The other guys in the group really like the black scribbly one (It's a voicemail bitch, although fixing it to voicemale would be awesome) and the words voicemale coming from the mouth. Each design is awesome though, and I really appreciate the input.

a few things:

1) Wow, I cannot thank everyone who has submitted stuff enough. I honestly expected to get flamed or told to piss off, but I am overjoyed with the awesome designs people have submitted. I really can't thank you enough (even with the voiceMAIL mistake, it happens all the time)

2) I'm going to try to put together a gallery of all the designs on the voicemale website, of course after I seek the permission of each artist. I think folks would get a kick out of seeing these designs, and I would love to spread NG to people who may not traditionally hear about it (i.e. a cappella nerds). I also thing it would be good publicity for the artists, since a few thousand people visit www.brandeisvoicemale.com every month.

3) As for the question of where this thread belongs, I do not believe it belongs in the art request thread, since that thread is specifically for requesting art for flash projects, as well as people paying for art, whereas this is not for flash and it's pretty much charity.

Again, I can't thank everyone enough. I'm really enjoying checking out the new submissions. In return, I am more than happy to give a crack at any art project someone throws my way. I love to draw, and even though I'n fairly new I would be happy to contribute.

So I dig newgrounds because there is basically limitless creativity here. I've seen every style under the sun, from a brooding music video to the awesome-est, most explicit COCK JOKE !

So when the task fell to me to create a logo for my a cappella group, I naturally thought, "I bet the folks at NG can make an awesome logo. So I throw the task to you. Something simple and straightforward is all I ask. I promise I am not getting paid for this, nor am I just hitting the NG community up for cheap labor. I respect what folks do here and I want to see what comes out of this.

Here's the deal:

The group is names VoiceMale (feel free to use the abbreviated, more iconic VM)
We come from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA
We are an all-male a cappella group (here come the cock jokes...)
our website is www.brandeisvoicemale.com
The logo will end up on a shirt, so 1-2 colors please

What do you get in return? A thank you on our new CD, due out in the fall. This may not seem like much, but our CD's reach thousands of people all over the country, and they bring your name with them. You also get my eternal thanks. and a shiny new nickle!
