Are you implying something with this, my good sir?

How'd I do on the background? Posted August 27th, 2008 in Art

I have never played D&D but the other day my boyfriend suggested that I draw a Mindflayer. They have some pretty nifty characters in that game. Yesterday I spent a lot of time on this. Hours I believe. It is the first time in a long time that I have attempted a background.

He says, "Nom nom brains."

How'd I do on the background?

This thread sure looks dead. sad face...
Well, I have drawn this crazy beach lady. I know the background leaves something to be desired. I just can't get the water right. Any suggestions on that part?

Mayhaps I'm a girl? If this is true it would be swell to have actually have my name on something to show I contributed to the site. I did create this account when I saw this collab. I'm not going to cry if it doesn't happen. Just seeing this thing completed would be the beesknees.

I was thinking of adding a nuclear explosion in the background and maybe a few thunder clouds but it was like 11pm and I couldn't be arsed in the end. D:

Reminds me an awful lot of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie poster.

It is the goat's mouth. If he were to smile he'd look like a feller that chewed on some crack rocks due to the fact goats don't have top teeth.

I now present to you: Fishsticks.

I wish I had time to write more, but I had to leave.

Thank you for the positiveness. It is very much appreciated. I really like hearing what people outside my social group think of my doodles. Sometimes you can't trust people that are close to you to tell you the honest truth.

The Baconator. I know my explosion leaves something to be desired. =(

This is a shouting match with my finless fish named Pete. He is a real fish and has been finless for about a year now. He sleeps upside down and does barrel rolls to get around. I haven't a clue why he is still alive. He has out lived my other goldfish.

Thank you all for the comments. I am glad that my doodles make people happy. That seems to be the case with them. Strange lil things they are. What I am presenting to you isn't in chronological order. I am just picking from my big cache of what I have done basically in the past three years and have saved to my computer.

Now this is a Cowboy Kitty who has stumbled across a bowling ball for the first time.
