Rahzel is by far the greatest I have ever heard, soley for his "If Your Mother Only Knew" act were he is singing while beat boxing-I can only fathom being that talented!! It would be real cool to see live, not just on video.

Legendary stuff... There will be someone better one day, its inevitable, its just whether its in my lifetime or not.... I hate to be a jerk but i've seen him and mike patton do a live act, its weird shit man, good tho. Rahzel well uses some samples n shit its not all by mouth, but he can do enough :)

Same, my bands not done a gig in over 2 years, we werent big time in the slightest but it was a buzz playin, now they've just fucked off. Too immature to have a practice.

They do grow back, right? Only i kind of made a wager...

Response to: What Are The Best Songs To Cover??? Posted August 4th, 2005 in Audio

Our bands mostly forgotten what songs we can all play, so we normally do master of puppets and crazy train, then just smoke loads of cigarettes whilst we think of the next song to play...

However i'm assuming that you all have heard my music since i asked if i could do better or not.

Depends what you want to do... Do you want it to sound more like instruments that are real but not, or do you want steady sounds? If you only want the steady sounds stick to FL, its good as it is, the "real" instruments are a bit strange, as i've already said they sound a little different on each run of the same pattern, almost human, but not...

Response to: For those that likes my music... Posted August 3rd, 2005 in Audio

To reinforce the point, reason has more dynamic synths included than in with fruity loops from what i've heard, ie the synths are slightly unstable, like a real instrument ie guitar,

EG. The bass notes sound a little different each time a pattern goes round, so you can get a little more dynamic expression into your work, tho theres probably vst with FL that are similar, if there were they would've been hyped like the reason synths....

FL can provide the clean, more static contrast from what i've heard so far, so it'd be interestin to hear what you can do. Personally i can do fuck all with either, but i only got reason a few days ago so i feel i can be excused for now :P

I say rewire, why choose when you can have both?

Hmmm i've been wonderin about this myself, what'd stop people stealing audio and using it in flashes without giving credit. If someone stole your actual audio tho and put it in their account and you found out, you could easy get them banned.

Who're you insultin and why?

Response to: Slicing and layering (Multi-Trak) Posted August 3rd, 2005 in Audio

Yeah i've yet to hear a track that had the vocals exclusively on one side or the other. If you're certain get a wave editor like soundforge and remove the channel you think it isnt. If you lose some tone or words then you'll know :S

Response to: The Audio Forum Lounge Posted August 3rd, 2005 in Audio

I do a bit, not recorded any tho, and yes i'm a stinky white man. Least i know who to worship tho, Rahzel is the man!

Response to: A good program for mixing music?! Posted August 3rd, 2005 in Audio

Personal preference really.

For generating sounds, reason is the best.
FL is good but i dont know anything about it, ask someone else.
And for arranging a mix, i find Acid Pro 5 to be the best, but thats the limit of my experience.

The industry choice is cubase so i've heard, but i dont know anything about that either, i found it a bit difficult, tho again, some'll say its easy. This is why its down to personal preference :)

Wait for others to have their say, dont do anythin based on what i say, i dont know enough, just some about what i like :)

Response to: Slicing and layering (Multi-Trak) Posted August 3rd, 2005 in Audio

If this is remixing, i've heard FL can remove vocals from tracks. If this true (anyone???) then you get that track without the vocals, treat it as a noise pattern and use it in soundforge to remove the original. No i cant help you with that, i've no idea how to do that yet. :S You may need sony noise reduction 2.0 plug in for it to work as well :S

Response to: Drum machine? Realistic drums? Posted August 3rd, 2005 in Audio

You know, i've seen one other person bothering with me about this, so why you have to bother is beyond me....

Response to: Drum machine? Realistic drums? Posted August 3rd, 2005 in Audio

If i choose to vent on the internet, no force on earth is going to stop me. If anyone ever takes anything i say seriously, then it is they with the problem and not me.

BUT

I'll shut up now anyway, i've just been dyin for an excuse to tell anyone to play the wrist violin, its a well good rip.

Response to: Drum machine? Realistic drums? Posted August 3rd, 2005 in Audio

Yes, i'm insulting you because you didnt see the value of my help, and didnt even ask how it was being helpful, jsut said thanks for nothing cos you want all the answers.

Anyway, thought that was your last reply to me?

You lose on your own terms, or something.

Not too arsed tbh, i've heard get a life loser more than i care, and its not really an insult off someone who's currently on the internet asking for help that google and searching and PUTTING SOME EFFORT IN can provide.

I tried helpin earlier, and told you what i do about sounds, and you said thanks for nothing. Ergo, you're the bellend in this situation "mate".
If you actually read the above, you'll see that (a) when you did say something helpful, I thanked you. If you read EVERY OTHER POST IN THIS THREAD, you'll notice that EVERY time ANYBODY answered, I thanked them too.

Well done ,you want a medal?

I only said "thanks for nothing" when you ridiculed me by pointing me to "justfuckinggoogleit.com" as a joke - because that obviously wasn't helpful, and was meant to be condescending. So, again, instead of either (a) being helpful, or (b) doing nothing, you chose option (c), being a dick.

If you didnt understand what it meant, and you actually did go on the link, you're more of an inbred than i first thought.

If you wouldn't have been a dick about it, none of this would have happened. Also, notice that no one else had anything nasty to say -- just you.

The rest of your response is useless baiting -- this will be my last reply to you.

I see, run away because YOU were stupid and emo enough to automatically assume i'm insulting you, by telling you to go on google? Go play the wrist violin, emo fag.

You are the one with the problem, mister, and if you think i'm going to be crying cos you dont reply, you're sadly mistaken.
